@@ronniecason9807 That's what I did with my turbo Civic. I used a K-Tuned dolphin tip muffler, removed the resonator, and it sounded good.

@@Brock_Landers i bout a b20b swapped crx about 2 years ago and it had the factory 1.75" exhaust on it. That was a no go for me so i got on ebay bought a 4-1manifold test pipe and spec-d 2.5" exhaust well after about a month of rasp bought a magnaflow muffler and a vibrant resonator went to a local exhaust shop and about 30 min later it sounded so much better

There is a silencer in the tip. Those 2 bolts in the end, undo them and a little cone comes out and it’s lowder

There’s a baffle in the exhaust that can be removed. It’s held in by two screws. If you pull it out it will sound better.

Oh boy. A few things 1. Its called a pie cut 2. Stainless steel doesnt rust. 3. Its a Civic. Any exhaust you use is gonna sound "ricey" 4. Flutter doesnt hurt your turbo in any way. Thats a myth. People get that confused with turbo surge which is a bad thing that happens at WOT. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FELLAS!

take off the silencer in the muffler, the two bolts on the outside of the top come out and then pull out the silencer piece. it will sound deeper and more full

Hey Robbie, Im Jadon. I have the same car (d15b7 engine) and same exhaust. If you take the silencer out from the exhaust it sounds better in my opinion. You should check it out tho. It doesn't really make it louder just you'll see

Take off that tip add a decent tip to the exhaust system and add like 2 or 3 resonators along the way and you'll be alright

i have the srs exhaust on my 96 hatch d16 right now love the thing other then the center flex pipe is a slip pipe from srs and leaks atm. SRS is the old ISIS company. you can understand why they changed names. full 4-2-1 header 2.5'' all the way back no cat and the fart can. i couldnt stand it without the silencer, it was just to loud without it. almost a full year on my car and i drove it all winter no cracks little to no surface rust on the hanger bar welds. the slip pipe is my only problem with it so far.
