If you attach a jig spinner to the lipless crankbait you can move them through the water a bit better avoiding more snags and the yellas / cod love them even more! 😉

Hi mate I am in the Ovens River system, but from where you are you would probably be better off heading to the Goulburn or the Broken. They're both great cod fisheries too.

G'day mate that's a very broad question. The Murray River and almost all of its tributary rivers have Murray cod in them. They are spread right throughout the Murray Darling basin.

Hi Paul, they don't breed mate. A trout cod is an Australian native fish. Some people call them a Bluenose cod. They're often called trout cod due to the fact that they live in cooler upland waterways..

Haha 😂 I just need to try and reply in such a way that I do not come across as being arrogant. The reality is that I have people asking me to take them fishing on a daily basis and It's simply not possible to say yes to everyone. I wish I could, I really do. I love fishing with nice people, I always have so much fun. My wife works at Coles and people recognise her and pass their phone numbers onto her to give to me so that I can call them and organise to fish with them. It gets a bit hectic. Hey mate you sure can and they delicious. Not the big ones though. Once they get over 50cm they turn to crap pretty quickly, especially in lakes.
