Thank You Jas, I remember reading your articles in Guitar Player as that was my Sports Illistrated back then even though I played Football Basketball and Baseball. This interview is more than an interview for me as I grew up with Robinn and family as our Parents where teachers together. What most people didn't realize is that Robinn was a 1st rd draft pick of the Dodgers and made to Vero Beach for The Big Club!! Rob was 6'5" 245 lbs in HS and had a 95mph fastball and could pound any pitching you got!! Like all of us back sports and Music went hand to hand. I was telling my wife how much I miss him and was lucky to be with him in his last days as he was coaching LL Baseball in Burbank CA by my work.He was much more than a Rockstar he was a Great Human that got caught in that Sunset Strip stuff and got spit out !!! I won't drop names but we grew up ton of Pro Atheletes and Rock Stars from SoCal . He and Tawwny where the perfect couple back then, and we miss them both. From Surfing to Fishing to Watersking to Hunting and of coarse Football Baseball Basketball and Girls Robinn was my Big Brother and someone I looked up to. Funny how he kicked my Ass back then for screwing up so I got return the favor a few times later, but remember Rob was 6'5" 350-400 lbs at the end, and no easy task!! Robinn did not blow all his money but set up his Nephews and Nices with College Educations and helped people w/ HIV and AIDs while a Cedars Sinai Hospital. This Man had a Huge Heart for people in Trouble. I love Robinn as someday we will meet agin and jam agin him on his King V and Me on Dave Gilmour Black Strat through Marshall's JCMs 200 and watch the stars fall!! Hehe used to do that in Baja Mexico on the beach!!

Never heard anyone say anything bad about him. That he was just a kind, gentle soul. Band fell apart when he passed.

wow, this is bitter sweet to listen. I remember founding out he past thru Metal Edge Mag. like a mo or two, after he passed. I was in Krogers in Houston (North Shore), Tx grocery shopping and as always, went to the magazine section. Picked up Metal Edge and seen his picture at the Top Right, didn't think much of it, I'll read his article in a few. Went to it and just shocked. Sad reading what happened.

@@BFahz yea that has been a long time. I moved back in '01 til '09. It had gotten really congestive with ppl. along w/crime. Not sure if you know, but San Jac college added quite a few buildings. Even the front building in front of Uvalde is new, it's 1/2 way attached to the older building that faced Uvalde.

Awesome interview! I feel like he was often overshadowed by Warren. At least that's how I saw it way back when.
