Great questions. Direct and thoughtful with interesting insights. This is so cool. Oh, 22:27 about CREAM- they were a powerhouse, supergroup as most people from the 60’s are intimately familiar with-and I am one. No, Ginger or son Kofi never opened a pizza chain, LOL. An imposter for sure. Would have loved to know what Robbie thought of seeing Jack Bruce at the Whiskey. Those Cream audio recordings are on KZbin. BTW, I met Ray Manzarek years ago, at an Encino book-signing and we had a lovely chat.

I absolutely devoured the book. Great read. Loved Ray's book and his enthusiasm, but he definitely hit John below the belt a few times. Also, glad the Doors never did commercials. Every time I hear "...what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down," I think of Mountain Dew and that's plain wrong.

If I had to guess why Jim was so upset about the ice cream stop, I'd say it was for the same reason he didn't want any tvs on during the recording of the first album. Loss of focus and staying in a certain mindframe he wanted for the show. Just a guess.

If you are going to have someone interview a Rock Legend like Robby.... please get someone who actually knows something about music besides American Idol... I was even more shocked than Robby when this dunce told him he met the drummer of CREAM who now owns some business in Nashville.. OMG!!! only 3 members in Cream , Eric Clapton , Jack Bruce , and Ginger Baker... ALL LEGENDS and Eric is the only one still alive.... Robby tried correcting him but he doubled down saying , could have been another of their drummers or a "back up" drummer? And when CREAM first toured the US the only band they didn't want to share the bill with because they were so good was Paul Butterfield Blues Band featuring Guitar Legend (and Robby's stated inspiration) Mike Bloomfield who this "drummer/interviewer " has never heard of either. Robby actually was nice to him and was honestly answering the questions , I am looking forward to his book.

You are correct... poor interviewer! The only possible answer regarding CREAM'S drummer... Ginger Baker... is it might have been Ginger's drum tech or the guy in the pizza place is a liar, a poser.

Cue at 42:30 -the new 2022 Gibson SG signature model? Hand-painted for the first 40 or so? As of Dec. 29, 2021 yet to have any knowledge or search info on this. I was confused thinking it was his 2011 (discontinued) signature Gibson SG. More information to follow, I guess.

Many years ago I bought a VHS bootleg called Feast of Friends in NYC at a record convention. Upstairs Ray was being interviewed and he signed my tape. Years later Robbie signed it too-the MANZAREK is low quality but the Kreiger is signed to Lee in red.

I decided to purchase this off of premiere collectibles - cancelled through water stones as there has been fans that notice his signatures are almost auto penned. While these are bookplates still would rather . Thanks Robby !

did he actually sign the books, it was proven he used an autopen on his Barnes and Noble books, what a joke he is, it taints the Doors for me knowing he basically lied when he said he would sign the books and you get a fake autograph
