What I like about this footage is that he keeps the rig vertical so he builds up real speed. In most of the other footages the guys hold the rig above their heads and are going around slowly just keeping minimum speed for the foil.

Did the foil deform due to this or did it spring back in place good as new? I would think that aluminum would deform. :( Awesome video, btw.

Dude, the modern foils are made out oft carbon, this is also the reason why foils are so damn extensive...

Robbie, what size board and wing are you sailing. I weigh 90kgs, been kitesurfing 20yrs and now want to buy your Naish set up. I was thinking 5m Wing and 110 litre board, would that be OK for first time wing surfer.
