HA! I can sympathize; I had a day like that some years back. Was going to do Molino Basin to Milagroso to town with some friends. On the descent after the hike-a-bike up from Milano, I got 3 huge flats before getting half-way down. Ran out of Presta tubes. Ran out of patches. Found out that the self-stick patches aren't worth CRAP. Had to turn around and hike back to my truck at Molino. Drove down to meet my friends at the bottom of Mila, and met them already driving out. On the way home I stopped at 4 different bike shops getting replacement patches, glue, heavy-duty tubes, and Schraeder-Presta adapter grommets. When I got home, I drilled ALL my MTB rims for Schraeder valves, so that I could use any combo available. I think that day was actually worse than the day I broke my wrist on Green Mountain; at least that one I had a good story, instead of just epic fuckery.

Was this on Sunday the 13th? I recognize some of those riders that passed you while you guys were changing out the tire. We were riding close to them for a while...I'm surprised we didn't run into you guys.

@@RobRealistic we rode Bugs down the Prison Camp to Molino Basin that day...we usually stop in the exact section you were changing out the tire and session it. We had chatted up some them riders that passed you, the one in the bright green shirt and the one with blue No Regrets shirt I remember. We were riding in front of those guys for a most of the ride. One of our guys got a flat at the end of Bugs and those guys passed us. I think our groups were working on flats about at the same time, other wise we might have run into each other ha ha.

@@trailmonster damn, so close. Well tj got a double down now, so we will be riding next week too I believe. Maybe not bugs, but definitely prison camp. We do laps on prison camp when its cold.

@@RobRealistic we sometimes do laps on Prison Camp as well, depending on the riders we have that day...two weeks ago we did a couple shuttle laps there..that video will come out in a couple weeks, got like 6 videos in front of that one. Anyway we might see you there this coming weekend.
