Awesome, you guys are absolutely awesome. Thank you so much for taking time to help literally hundreds of folks in need. I worked all of my life but in 2015 I became disabled by a heart condition. It was a little over 2 years before I was approved to receive disability. Those were hard times! We would not have had much to eat had it not been for a food pantry. "Tasting" of fluids has been a routine thing for decades. It is not drinking the fluid, but merely touching the tongue with a tiny drop of the fluid in question. I was first made aware of this in auto mechanics shop class in 1955. Back then it was to check the difference between permanent anti freeze and the seasonal alcohol based anti freeze. Permanent had a slight sweet taste. Hillbilly has training from some old timers!

Great job and a great cause guys. Once again, Hillbilly comes up with a really smart way to get that transmission up and in place. I'd like to add, it always amazes me to see the differences between the blue collar worker, and the well off white collar folks. These guys emptied their wallets, and dumped their pockets because they wanted to donate. Not for a tax break, or to be able to write it off, but because they understood what that truck means to the Pantry, and what that Pantry means to the community. I wish I had better words to express my respect for these guys.

The world could learn a great deal on how we should treat one another from watching your channel, Matt's and Paul's channel. The off-road community is the most helpful group of unselfish folks I've seen. I live in San Diego and no seems to care about others nearly enough. Watching the vehicles on their crawling excursions and seeing everyone helping fix broken crawlers whenever they can and ensuring that everyone is OK and taken car of is a joy to watch. I took a 6F55 transmission to Action Transmissions to have them rebuild it. They were very helpful in explaining why the previous replacement transmission from Motorcraft only lasted 5000 miles. The Motorcraft rebuilt transmission also never shifted right. This was on a 2010 3.5L EcoBoost. We haven't had any problems with Action Transmission's work and it's been in the car for over five months so far. The solenoid pack part number had to be programmed to the PCM. So anyway, you guys are really generous. It's good to see this kind of service.

Really, really nice what you all did for the Pantry! Kudos. BTW, tasting a drop of engine oil, ATF, or coolant is a time-tested way of determining, for example, if ATF is burnt. Totally different taste. Hillbilly is correct!
