I’m with Mari on the split house twist, I think it’s a fun idea that was just executed really poorly. If they can figure out how to set it up so we don’t lose feeds and the two sides are chosen at random, I think it could be a top tier twist. Ideally, if they do bring it back I’d like to see them move it to the final 12 instead of the final 10 so we have two sets of six instead of five, I think that’d be a more interesting dynamic and we wouldn’t lose the final 10 and final 9 weeks. I feel at final 12, we’re still in that “big alliance running the game” so it’d give the underdogs a chance to make a move or at the very least just get rid of two of them at once instead of having two boring weeks.

I was surprised Coup D’Etat only came up as an honorable mention after both the main draft and the penalty round. Even though it was only in a couple seasons, it still looms large in my mind when I think of BB Twists. As far as voting goes, I think Maggie takes it for me. I like all of her twists, and her penalty wasn’t terrible. I liked her revised strategy of picking twists she wouldn’t mind having if she ever got on.

I think they should do a split house week one kind of survivor style. The first week the house would be divided in two where each side comes in not knowing each other. Then after the first eviction, the two sides merge and see each other for the first time. Maybe a platform to repeat the Ex Factor twist with each ex on the opposite side of the house week 1.

I voted before watching this week and I’m sorry I couldn’t help contribute to the Taran must lose agenda 😂. I just loved the twin twist too much as a child so it led my decision.

Never a fan of a player being voted out and returning but I think my favorite was at the final 6-4-back to 5 double eviction in BBCAN9.

I know this isn't how you were evaluating it, but if you look at these teams as in a season with all of these twists together, I think Mari has the best season.

For when it was used...no, not the split house from 24. But I do love the potential of that twist. It should have been from the start. 8 inside and 8 outside. Randomly picked and already chosen or a game played to figure out the split, whatever. But start with a split house where they really get to know those very well. To potentially join forces better than teams living in the same house and mingling. Then allow for some strategic intrigue with like one day out of the week, the split house has full access to yard and house and to everyone, not just their side. Audience gets a double eviction, so the pre-jury first 4 happen in 2 weeks. Or to not speed it up as much, have the audience vote between the 2 evicted and have 1 return. ...but to the other side of the split house. It's just a twist that I love in the potential...if it'd been done when more people were on both sides and near the beginning.

I didn't mind the hacker twist as the two weeks basically mirrored eachother, going back and forth between the two sides, what it came down to was foutte botching the veto. The mvp twist was good, Elissa did some pretty crazy things with it. But America nom'ing Elissa was because Aaryn was nominated. It created a confusing moment for the house but it came about due to Aaryn's behaviour so it takes the edge off celebrating it. If you liked Elissa it kind of worked out for her, she seemed invincible due to the twist, this took away her threat level and she could go UTR for a bit.

The safety suite would work really well if using it was a secret. Make it over the entire prejury, you get one usage and no one will know when/if you use it. If you win, your safety wont be revealed unless you are nominated.
