ABSOLUTE TOTAL GENIUS The attention to detail, the amount of thought invested. We know how well these guys prepare and play, but the lengths Tony displays out there, now that i know them all, its blows my mind. I couldnt understand why people didnt align when on tv it seemed so obvious, but can really see it now - he had invested so much in their belief and trust that they were never going against him. The greatest game ever played... man, it will take some beating i cant even imagine it. All hail the undisputed GOAT, fantastic interview by Rob, and a privilege to listen to. I didnt think i could be more impressed and every 10 min Tony blew my mind in a whole other way. Brilliance

Tony recap also let me know that survivors editors were kind of sloppy with doing the edits for the show. Information that Tony is giving is so detailed especially if the editors knew the stuff was going on. I don't know why they would not reveal how detailed Tony's relationship with Jeremy was and how detailed is relationship with Nick was. I think Tony finds it annoying that they tried to make certain players seem like simps for the show. Because how can you make winners look like losers. There's no way you could possibly do that. I know Survivor probably wasn't expecting the pan epidemic to occur but it would have benefited them to at least put more information about each episode on CBS access.
@AAM-pv1he4 жыл бұрын
@@rebuiltgirl3263 totally agree, this season really suffered from not having 90 min episodes (or spending so much time on the Edge)... what to the naked eye looked pretty strange/safe/overloyal/mega old skool gameplay was in fact far more nuanced now that we get these kind of insights from the cast. They did Wendell really dirty with the crappy villain edit too. Glad we have content like this to bolster the true survivor artefact.

Tony is such a mastermind of the game that he made every second he was on the island strategic. Like on tv, he looks like a really smart, strategic player but that didn’t even scratch the surface. Funny enough, this seasons end was very similar to season one. While both Richard hatch and Tony’s strategic dominance got them there, it was their social game and relationships that won him the game. He literally mastered the social game. TONY

He may not have hobbies he's passionate about outside the game but he's clearly very passionate about playing the best game of Survivor as humanly possible. And he did! I think his most compelling and honestly moving argument at final tribal was that he wanted to represent a season of winners as best he could, as best as anyone could, and give this season a strong winner and a game played that they could all be proud of being a part of. I kind of assumed by the amount of tweets Tony has directed at Jeremy that they were tighter than the edit showed. I think what hurt Wendell a ton was not being able to say anything at a reunion show or have Michele say anything since they didn't have one. Yep. I can see why they put the edge in for this season (because it prevented some of the personalities we've been waiting so long to see from being wiped from our screens early, which would have happened with this bootlist). But the way it ended up being edited proves we need longer episodes (Which, to be fair, is on CBS, not the show itself)

Tony made this season great. Part of me wishes Wendell went against Michelle to see if we would have had Tony-Sarah-Wendell-Jeremy-Nick block late game. But what an awesome player. CBS needs to publish this season with an extra 100 hours or so ha so much left out

Ya that would have been awesome, but since they were perceived as a couple alot of the jury would probably vote for the 3rd option in that instance!

Does anyone else's brain just feel tired after listening to Tony? There's so much frantic energy, and it's crazy to imagine actually pulling that off constantly for 39 days!

Tony applied his instigating training as a cop to the game, it worked great for his game play. He changes on the fly, because he has good instinct.
