This is the first season of survivor I vividly remember watching live!! I know I watched all before this one as well, and remember loving Rupert when I was a bitty one lol!! But the Phillip/Francesca fight lives in my head rent free lol!!

Christian should be in the top five picks, no question. Hope they put in people that are actually there to play the game and not put in to fill an archetype.

The first (?) year they did a Survivor Hall of Fame, Russell's nominations included Stephanie Valencia, which shocked everyone considering how few episodes she was on RI, and how she barely did anything. Russell said that he was impressed by her strategic thinking.

Looking back at the list so far, the only real miss is no Russell Hantz. I get it. Not well liked by many people. But, should probably have put those feelings aside in a season that is literally dominated by him. Don’t come at me people. I don’t care that much either way. Ha. Great work Mike and Christian!

agreed if the "Wish List" is gonna have chances to vote for people like NaOnka & Fairplay who Jeff would disqualify as quitters, as well as people from Thailand like excluding Russell is just ridiculous, there are a lot more people wishing for him than those folks Plus just putting him on the ballot doesnt put him on the season, it just gauges what the fanbase actually wants to see

I get it that Boston Rob had to do Winners at War because you couldn't have the season without him, but I hope he stays retired. I just don't see how he can go far unless he's in a season that's full of players on his level, which would be something like an all-time best season. Who knows, maybe a legends season could be just that if they bring in actual legends.

I'm in complete disagreement with most views of Redemption Island. It's actually one of my top five fave seasons because Rob is one of my top five fave players. You can't take anything from his dominant win here. It's not his fault that a whole cast of new idiots let him get all the way through, it's not his fault none of them were smart enough to outwit him. What is his fault is that when his life was on the line, he won the key immunity challenges he needed to, and that's just classic Boston Rob challenge performance that no one can match when it comes to must win scenarios. And it's also his fault that he knows psychology so well that he could manipulate all those players into giving him the victory. All this season shows is how great he was at that time and how a seasoned player can outplay new players in every aspect. It was a sign of the times. And he's one of the greats. You can't take that from him in anyway. I also love th theme of Redemption Island. I am one of the viewers that loves challenges. I prefer them to endless hours of strategy talk that puts me to sleep. I'm competitive in a sporting nature and the thrill of all the challenges, obstacle courses, etc is where the excitement is for me when watching. So extra challenges? Heck ya. Loved it.

100%. Andrea is one of those people who can play as many times as she wants for me, because she's never going to make a season less fun. She's good in confessionals, she's always actively playing the game, but she's also not good enough at the game that it's ever going to lead to a boring season because she's dominant. And she gets easily spooked so even if she's in a good position she might veer the car off the road and create chaos. She's a very messy player without being loud and obnoxious.
