Haven't been this excited for an upload from any channel in a long time; the fact that it was this long was icing on the cake. I have listened to all the RHAP rankings podcasts so many times it's a little sad, so to have a new and updated one in my arsenal is nothing short of bliss. Great podcast. Only thing I disagreed with was the argument that BB18 had a good cast because they've appeared on so many other shows. The fact so many of them were just desperate to be on TV and all from a fairly similar demographic/personality type really hurt the season for me; it's one of the least interesting from a sociological perspective (apart from the collapse of Paulie), and as primarily a BBUK fan that's a big problem.

Wild to me that they ranked BB20 middle of the pack. Regardless of how boring/predictable the final third of the game was, its one of the most likable casts we’ve ever had and the first two thirds of the game are phenomenal. Arguably the greatest pre-jury ever. While it had such a disappointing ending, I just think it’s gotta be higher than they ranked it.

The reason I used to consider the twist with Brendan returning to the game in Season 13 as an unfair twist was because of the way it was marketed. All throughout the week leading up to his eventual return to the house, Julie and the producers had stated that they will be given the opportunity to return to the game. That to me sounded like the way the Battle Back functioned and seasons 15 through 21 and instead we just get to find out that America voted for whom they wanted to see compete to return, which of course was going to be a veteran. I always saw it as a contingency plan to assist in production's goal of having a returning player win the season in the event that 1 of the veterans got evicted in the pre-jury. I believe there is actually a report out there from Alison Grodner about how she and the rest of the production crew for Big Brother coordinated with the returning players on the season about guaranteeing the a spot on the jury which was the exact reason why this twist was implemented in the first place

Personally, I loved S11. Maybe the strategy and gameplay wasn't like the top-tier seasons, but I feel like the drama, fights and pure insanity was entertaining and I remember being totally into the season all summer when it was airing. Especially when compared to the season after which I found very boring with even less gameplay. There may have been some terrible people and or behaviour that season, but nothing like BB9, BB15 or BB19.

I don’t know why bb18 gets such a bad rep. I feel like yeah it got a little bit boring after Michelle got evicted (so only 2 weeks), there were so many interesting characters, power shifts (franks rise and fall, Paulies rise and fall, Nicoles rise), Paul and Victor were always the underdogs, so much drama, and a jaw dropping finale. This was honestly one of my favorite seasons, I don’t know why it’s ranked so low

It’s interesting to me that you guys care so much about the winner of a season for how you rank it. For me, as long as the journey throughout the season was entertaining I care very little about who won at the end of the day. BBCAN5 is a top 3 season for me and I’m an Ika STAN. Sure it might bump it up slightly and given me a true storybook ending if she came away with the win, but it doesn’t ruin the season for me at all that she didn’t win.

I want to defend my favorite season, BB7, for a moment and explain why I believe it’s the best season ever and how it’s shortcomings that these guys mentioned aren’t really shortcomings. Now sure, Will would’ve been the one everybody wants to see win in the end. But the way Chilltown played both Janelle and Erika was so dirty. It felt like justice at the time when the girls came together and took out one of the boys. It felt poetic. And then not only that, Chilltown still takes home the crown in the end. In my eyes, a win for Boogie was just as much a win for Will. (Especially with their pact to split the winnings). It was a great ending and while sure, I think Janelle winning would’ve maybe been slightly better and more poetic, Boogie winning was still a fantastic end. I view so much more as a Chilltown win than solely a Boogie win.

I agree, it's one of my favorite seasons. I get that the characters weren't super memorable and the two sides of the house weren't super strategic, but that set the perfect stage for Allison and Jun to work their magic. They were both batshit crazy but extremely game-minded and even though they hated each other, they knew they had to keep each other alive. It's the strongest F2 imo and the fact that Jun doesn't care that the jury hates her even after she wins is amazing. Will gets credit for being "cut-throat" in BB2 as does Danielle in BB3, but Jun and Allison made Will and Danielle look like cubscouts!

@@TreverBeast hes basically saying that there were only what like 13 people on BB12 and the idea of the brigade is that they start with 4 as a core then 3 more makes a majority of the house right from the beginning. That is why the casts are bigger now because its hard to make a solid alliance of like 9 people to have a majority of at least 16 people

Watching this back again: I think Taran would now admit he had BB12 too low. I’m with Melissa there and probably would have BB12 #4. Yes it was a steamroll, but the people that steamrolled were people I loved!! I loved the Brigade, wanted them to succeed, and also loved Britney. Brenchel were also great villains to root against. Overall a Top 3 cast only behind All-Stars and maybe BB10 as far as the cast. Behind those two and BB14 for me as seasons.

From a BB "Superfan" since BB1 (who really liked BB1!): Single best moment in all of the BB seasons: The Twin Reveal in BB5 with the HG's truly funny/gobsmacked reaction. Single best Finale: BB17, with Steve's bold, gutsy eviction of BB superstar Vanessa. Worst BB winner (which for me knocks BB7 All Stars out of the top 10: the odious, repulsive and stomach-churning Boogie.) Props to this epic RHAP for naming BB10 the best BB season! Great cast, (minus another odious BB player - Jessie!) with the single funniest rendition of "Happy Birthday" in the history of "Happy Birthday" "sung" to adorable Keisha.

I’m can’t even see an argument for some of this season being ranked better than 18. Here’s a list of seasons that I don’t even think come close to being better than 18: -BB11 -BB13 -BB19 -BB16 -BB5 -BB1(obv) -BB9 ...these are just ones that I don’t even think should be debated. They’re all easily lesser seasons than 18 to me. I just think the cast is so good in 18. BB18 Paul is one of my favorite house guests ever. The Final 2 was a genuine hard decision on who was most deserving. Paulie’s fallout was incredible television... I just think it’s wildly underrated here.

You guys didn't like season 1??? A late comer to BB, I just finished all 70 episodes. I enjoyed it, although could have done without 90% of the laughing and the dog. Definitely not one of the worst seasons for me. Not the HGs' fault how the producers formatted the season, it was still interesting to watch. Btw, R.I.P. Cassandra, who was tragically injured in an auto accident in Rome and died in September 25th. She never regained consciousness.

It wasn’t even meant to be that Game-ish like it is today. It was an experiment to put 10 strangers into A house and see what happened with a few tasks. It wasn’t meant to be as strategic and overdramatized like it is today. Those were real people getting a long and voting off each other by sympathy which is way harder to do when u want everything to be happy and friendly than those power alliances and bull. Ofc it’s great how BB evolved into something bigger than BB1 but to call It the worst coz it wasn’t even meant to be those power plays etc. is straight up stupid by those people. I liked it for what it was back then

Big Brother 18 is WAY too low, u wanna tell me 15,16,13 are all above it, that's a joke. Pretty much all of the new players have been on other forms of reality TV, it was an outstanding cast. Paul and Vic were amazing underdogs. Only bad part of the season was the rigged care package twist and Nicole winning after doing nothing but obsess over Corey the whole season.

Season 9 was the most scuffed season in big brother history. As if the idea of forcing members to be pairs wasn't enough, they casted some of the worst people of all time. To address the elephant in the room, Adam, who was a drug dealer and ended up wasting his entire winnings on... Well drugs. He was even in kahoots with Matt. Was it really such a good idea for big brother to put an out of the house couple with other people inside the houses? All for a twist? And then to put someone and their ex in the game affectively harming their game. Big Brother needed to pay closer attention to their castings given the argument between Joshuah and Amanda about her "hanging herself" was over the top considering her history, and many other arguments were damaging to this season as well. I saw little to no strategy in this season and I find it extremely hard to watch. Even if season 19 wasn't that great, there is no way I would ever rank 9 above it

I’ll never forgive season 13 when Shelly switches sides (great), Kalia wins the double eviction HOH & gets Jeff out (great), THEN Porsche wins HOH and Jordan or Rachel is about to go home & big brother decides to Pandora box reinstate the duos twist and set up a veto comp that Rachel already won week 1. I had no idea All Stars was regarded by the public as such a great season because for me it fell extremely low. Part of this is because I’m a huge BB5 fan and Nakomis and Diane both went out early. Like the podcasters, the eventual winners of the season have considerable weight in how I retrospectively view each season, and BB7 was one dominated at the end primarily by Dr. Will and Janelle. Mike Boogie is a character, but it was Will making all the moves only to get cut at 4. I think I also struggle with All-Stars because each week you see someone go home that you love. Idk just me I guess haha.

They should have a VIP season with the greats. Will, Boogey, Paul, Vanessa, Dan, I hate Paul, but he would have to be on this season, Honestly, Erica, Danielle, Nicole, Rachel, Cody, Jessica, and whoever your favorite is. No twists, and they should get treated like the celebrities do. And a shorter season. 60 days.

I find it funny how Brent didn’t give BB15 the “oh my god moment” points because the second double eviction contributed more to Andy being a great winner rather than the season being great, but then goes on to describe both the first and second double evictions as moments where he said “oh my god, did you just see that?” The second double eviction? Sure, give Andy the points. But the first? That was definitely because of the chaos of the season, like Helen being the strategist she was and all the stuff that built up to Aaryn doing anything Helen said

I watched ONE EPISODE of big brother 1 and had a feeling it would always be the worst. i can only imagine how bored one would be to watch all 19 next seasons THEN watch bb1. actually I think I only watched 20 mins of that episode. bb9 made me rage quit on to not watch for many seasons.

For me the worst will be seasons 19 / 16. So boring with one person dominating throughout. I also didn't like season 20. Loved season 10 / 13 / 8
