Rob Chapman. Thank you for 10 years of music and life related enjoyment! When I had the chance to meet you in Indianapolis Indiana you greeted me like a long lost friend! I don't know of many people who have achieved your level of success and that still care this much about fans. Please keep yourself up built as well. The world is a better place with Rob Chapman in it. Thank you!

Don't often comment Rob, but just wanted to say you are a fantastic role model for the kids, and an inspiration to the older ones too. You are a completely unique bloke - that's what makes you special - you share your life with us for better or worse and I for one love it and you make me laugh often. Long live the Greeeeeetings and all things Chappers :-)

I once had 2 guitars and 2 amps a the same time (which I had to get rid of due to kids and a mortgage) and I can’t imagine how awesome it would be to have a dozen guitars and a dozen amps lol. Keep rocking, buddy.

Hey Rob, I have been following your channel as well as your associates channels for a long time now, own two of your guitars and often look to you for playing inspiration. Well I want to let you know you cost me a good deal of scratch $$ today :) I just bought a Bad Cat 40R. Black Friday special here in the USA, I got -$200 less than normal price and in a fancy red finish. Looking forward to rocking it out man. I need another boutique amplifier in my life like I need another hole in my head. My collection is vast to include, Orange, Dr Z, 65 Amps, Allen, Fuchs, and Boogie. Now I can add Bad Cat to that list, I have always wanted a Matchless style amp, I think this gets close. Cheers from Maryland, USA.

1. This video was classic cheeky chappers 2. That Mesa Boogie may be the best looking amp ever! 3. That is a wild pedal collection 4. Also love when you demo the Badcat you use a fuzz octave and wah to completely colour the true sound 😂 classic chappers but it sounded great
@reecemurdoch28336 жыл бұрын
Hey Rob, I was just wondering if you and Dave could maybe throw out some more stuff for bass?! I totally disagree about seeing you everywhere as overwhelming/boring, and the story of you guys coming from where you were to where you are now is so inspiring. I have been looking around for a 5 string bass to record with (in a melodic rock/metal style but with a flat tone), and I am heavily leaning towards the MLB1-5, but I would just love to see a little bit more about it in general? I can't begin to imagine how time consuming everything is, but as a bassist and lover of music - I would definitely appreciate more bass content as well! I hope people can like this so that it has a greater chance of being seen! Much appreciated people :)

The Kemper is best suited for touring as to not run risk of destroying your valve amps on the road. At home/the studio, you can use the real deal that can easily be adjusted on the fly. Just make sure to profile the settings before hitting the road!
@this_way_to_the_egress6 жыл бұрын
That boogie is the colour of my soul
@michaelangeloh.53836 жыл бұрын
What you have between the Kemper and the real things is what I have with digital and film photography. I was really fascinated with how amazing digital sensors/cameras are years ago. And they still are and even more impressive nowadays. - But I turned bored because of the unlimited digital aspect, and being able to do about anything also gave me that "option paralysis" on top of that. - It just stopped having soul or meaning to me, so I put the camera down for years. - Then someone offered me a bunch of old film-cameras and I became inspired again. - It the physical thing, something that us humans can get into contact with, like it tangible and just more "organic". Cause in a way it is. - I think analogue equipment in expression and art is really essential to what you produce. Be it film for photography and printing and image, or using either valve or solid state amplifiers, or even analogue synths for electronic music, and things like recording to tape or records on vinyl... All of that bridges a gap between humans and materials, and direct to digital is just too sudden.

My first tube amp was the Mesa Boogie .22 too. That's awesome. If you like the MK V 25? Wait to until you try the MK V 35. Its got a footswitch more like the MK IV, 4 EL-84s and it comes in a combo that weighs only 44lbs. Pretty sweet. I finally tried a Victory Sheriff 44 and its amazing. I need more of that in my life too. Heres to more Victory amps in the States!

We all get sick of our selves once in a while, is not wrong to feel like that, what I feel that is wrong is not grow and learn from that. Sometimes I think that when you are sick of being/thinking/feeling and even playing in the same way is because one is closing to learn new things.

The badcat is essentially a hotroded AC30 essentially as ac30s are really about 37/38 watts and that’s 40 also it’s got the ef86 like an ac30 and the controls are like an ac30s too boost with the bass treble and the tone cut
