To be fair Adam, that’s what ide always thought about Robens in general. Great stuff but expensive. Turns out they’re stuff is cheaper than other company equivalents. I’m looking to buy a polycotton tent, have my mind virtually set on the Tentipi Safir 9 or 15. How ever, had a gander at Robens polycotton line up and they do similar things, but about half the price to a third cheaper. I can’t speak of the quality of their polycotton tents, but have their Triple Dreamer from yeeaars ago and it’s in the same nick as it was the day I bought it. Have used it all year around too. So am now wondering wether to get the Tentipi Safir 15 or two Klondike Grandes pitched facing each other with one as the sleeping tent, the other as the living tent, a stove in each and a tarp connecting both to each other. Terrible product, it’s a nightmare to pitch and when you finally have it leaks badly in wind & rain, the inner tent touches the outer and it pours through. To make matters worse the stitching on the Fairbanks I replaced it with is terrible. Avoid Robens products.
