Does the main also have a mesh included, in case you want to have the door open but avoid insects? ... and secondly does the main door fully zip on all sides including along the bottom to avoid insects getting into the tent once the door is closed or does the bottom remain open?

So there isn’t a mesh door as such but you do have the mesh windows which are built into the normal door. The door itself does zip along the bottom so it does provide a big free barrier.

You can yes, providing you make sure the flue goes through the chimney point.
