Great "face-time" Rob! Very well done! Thank you for posting!

Nice interview - I liked the emphasis on simple solutions and how Robert let Cameron talk. You could see the entire interview change when the farm(s) were mentioned and I thought it turned out really well.

I really like that in all the interviews Robert wasn't attacking any of the non-vegans for their diet, and rather just asked them for other measures people can take to have a more eco-friendly diet. I myself am a vegan, but I don't believe that judging others and attacking them is any way to go about educating people.

Oh yes, me too, hummus is nice. Melamade's work deals with the endocannabinoid system & how it affects health & society.

You make a great point; I wouldn't say it's obvious though... principled human veganism is a new ethical development. To be sure, I don't think it's literally a mild opiate, but I get what you're onto. Mother's milk does contain endocannabinoids, & I've heard Dr. Robert Melamede suggesting the evolutionary role of that could be in treating the PTSD the baby would have from the birth.

@MasterAtriedes Not only for the environment, but for yourself, become a super human and embrace longevity with the power of raw food, cheers !

@angelbe88 agree. He's got good positive ideas, but....how many people have his resources...??

I recommend anyone interested in health & progress check out Dr. Robert Melamede, actually; his work is fairly revolutionary in it's scope & insight. You can get vegan cheese, but I find it's so fatty I'd rather snack on something better, but hey, that's me. Follow Your Heart brand has the best I've tried. As for that natural issue; I wouldn't get into the habit of thinking natural means good, because it doesn't. Some evolutionary functions can be violated without wrongness too.

James Cameron does not do what James Cameron does for James Cameron - James Cameron does what James Cameron does because he is James Cameron

a vegan driving a hummer is doing more for the environment, than a Meat-eater driving a hybrid.

I would be surprised if someone who has this much money wasn't eating all organic.

I guess that was before he went vegan.

i don't think he was a vegan at the time of the interview...

Yes, but James apparently doesn't know that because he didn't say it or promote it, nor did the interviewer say it! Of all the perfect times to say, "the greenest thing anyone can do is go vegan" in an interview & he didn't say it! *forehead slap*

I thought the interview was great except for the insane comment he made about teaching his kids not to be little consumers since he is the KING of consumerism haha

i respect what he's doing with the vegetarian thing but i cant see how he can be classed as vegan when he consumes goats milk. vegan means no animal products at all. including goats milk jim!
