@@1TexasTV a nomination for this movie for either him or Bill Murray's performance wouldn't have came to a surprise. But evidently, and correctly 1993 was an amazing year for movies, and competition was extremely fierce for best actor at the oscars that year. And if this movie did get a nomination it would probably be more seen by the public. Because unfortunately, this movie didn't do the greatest at the box office, it made only a few million more than it's budget, which was $19 million. I think it was because in addition to being released in March, (which I think was the weakest month of that year for movies), Bill Murray's other classic movie Groundhog Day was released a month prior to this movie, so that probably got the people's attention first. But regardless, Mad Dog and Glory is a very good movie, one of the years best, it barely my top 10 of that year, but it's number 11.
