You're wrong, he did not "storm out" of the interview. He did not react to the inappropriate, insensitive, tasteless questions with any aggression, he didn't say anything mean or nasty. He was very calm and cordial, and even said to the douche-bag reporter that he was a good guy, just a little to much Diane Sawyer and walked out. Who ever wrote the title for this video does not grasp or understand the use of the english language, and appears to only be interested in sensationalizing it. Best to describe what it really is, don't you agree?

Storming out of an interview is a bit of an over exaggeration but lets be honest, he was pretty quick to leave the interview. Albeit in a calm manner but in the middle of a bit of an sensitive question most likely written by someone else and not the interviewer himself rather probably an outsource from the company he works for. Downy knew this, thats why he said "you seem like a good guy" meaning that it wasnt the interviewer that made him upset but rather the question itself. He doesnt seem to be the type to blame others for how he feels, he seems to just take responsibility for how he feels and try to either resolve it, or in this case, leave.

Spckeck Good point. All I know is the man has worked hard over the years to overcome that reputation he gained as a young man. Young people do stupid things, we all have at some point done something we're not proud of later in life. He's been interviewed lord knows how many times about it. Let the man get on with his life and look at him for who he is now, not who he was 20 years ago.

I really respect how even when walking out of an interview, Robert Downey Jr. does so calmly and maturely. The interview should have been about the Avengers. There's a time and a place for everything, and Downey has answered questions about his past in previous interviews. But when this is clearly an interview about the Avengers, those questions had no place.

That was a cool and calm response to a clearly uncomfortable question that shouldn't really be asked at an interview about a film. If you want to delve into a troubled past why not bring up some of the troubles Downey's character has and see if he relates and draws from his own past. Great job Robert! You talked about this million of times in the past including Oprah. You showed millions of people that you can bounce back from mistakes and be successful from your past. You are not obligated to justify your past to strangers or silly interviewers. Opening bandages on wounds! Your fans love you and are happy for your success.

(I’m a brain surgery survivor. Siri is helping me spell. I’m sorry if some of my sentences might be off )You are 100% correct!! And he knew with Oprah would that was going to be about!! This is in promoting his movie, that I was just trying to Pedro minute to be noticed!! Robert Downey, Jr., walked off like a professional, and that idiot is being made fun of on KZbin right now!! 😂😂😂…

The title is misleading. The reason he "stormed out" of the interview was that the interviewer started asking personal questions and RDJ didn't want to commit to the interview so he left calmly and appropriately.

You don’t just ask questions like that to someone you don’t really know, nor understand. Robert felt irritated and uncomfortable, you could tell. He got past and through that stuff and it’s in the past, so why ask about it. It could set off a trigger within some people. Plus Robert didn’t even storm out of the room, he just walked away in a calm manner.

Krishnan is a hopeless journalist. He had a similar interview with Quentin Tarrantino where he talk the interview in a completely unnecessary direction. I'm not sure if he is a self publicist who wants attention for upsetting big names or if he is so dim that he doesn't understand the difference between a movie promo chat and a "warts and all" hour with Oprah.

They're typically there for time management. His schedule, especially when he's doing press for a new release, is likely insane in terms of the amount of other interviews he likely had that day. Their job is to ensure that when an interviewer's two or three minutes are up that the interview is ended so he can move on to the next one and not get wrapped up in answering a question that requires long answers. Gotta keep the train a-movin'.
