I really don't know why Durst is bothering to go through with the trial. He could save a ton of lawyer fees but then again, only so much cash you can spend in prison

I love this prosecutor. He wins all of his cases. He proves all his facts. He used to work with Detective Jim who was also brilliant. This prosecutor told the defendant he is going down this time.

He's an idiot. Trying too hard to convince the jury or himself?? Way too long opening.

Long opening cause much to cover. He moves through evidence swiftly, all of which is needed to prove.

The prosecutor using the "dog argument" shows the expert he is!! Play to the killers ego. I love it!

At the beginning of this statement DeGuerin was objecting every 5 minutes saying Lewin was presenting argument....Lewin started adding "the evidence will show" to the beginning of every sentence & he stopped doing it The evidence will show that DeGuerin isn't very smart

I keep trying to think of reasons he could be innocent. Few and far between. Sometimes if it walks like a duck, it's a duck. He's murdered at least 3 people. The least justice system can do is lock him away for one. It's a tragedy, he's lived such a long life whilst he victims did not. Only sorry, at 78 and in poor health (allegedly) he won't live to serve all the years in prison, he'll hopefully be sentenced to serve.

I think he’s gotten into the mindset that people already think he’s a killer. I think he doesn’t give an eff about what people think. So he might not react the way normal people act. I think he’s gotten into a survival mindset. Idk if he killed Susan but I don’t think there’s enough to prove it. Just because he wrote the note doesn’t mean he committed the murder. He probably stumbled upon her body and wrote the note so she wouldnt decay and wanted her to be found because he loved her. I think he wrote the note because he was scared he’d be blamed for Susan like he was for Kathy.I don’t think there is enough to say hey it couldn’t be this person or this person who killed her because someone else’s prints were at the scene.

Nice and generous idea but he lies again and again and again. The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. He has means, motive and opportunity. Should be a slam dunk but you never know

All human beings will feel more sympathy for an injured animal than a human. So the the prosecution argument regarding Igor is moot.
