I had "Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening" in my school textbook around 10-11 years ago. The poem has stuck with me forever since and whenever I do or achieve something I know there still are miles to go before I sleep!

At 2:23 Frost does a great save. He had written a poem for JFK's inauguration, a lengthy work titled "Dedication." He had trouble delivering the brand-new work, and couldn't read the words in the bright sunlight. So, he took a very awkward moment and turned it around, ignoring the text he had prepared and, instead, recited from memory the poem "The Gift Outright."

For years, my great-grandmother (my dad's maternal grandmother) led the family to believe that Stephen Foster was one of our ancestors on that side of the family, but after my dad did his own research about ten years ago, he found out that Robert Frost was one of our distant cousins, which may explain my love for writing.

Hello! We may be related then! Robert Frost’s 2nd great grandparents William and Sarah Holt Frost were my 5th great grandparents. So Robert Frost was my 3rd cousin, 3 times removed (I’m a writer as well as a composer)

The Pulitzer Prize is an award for achievements in newspaper, magazine and online journalism, literature, and musical composition in the United States. It was established in 1917 by provisions in the will of American (Hungarian-born) Joseph Pulitzer who had made his fortune as a newspaper publisher, and is administered by Columbia University in New York City. Prizes are awarded yearly in twenty-one categories. In twenty of the categories, each winner receives a certificate and a US$15,000 cash award (raised from $10,000 in 2017). The winner in the public service category of the journalism competition is awarded a gold medal.

I believe, W.H. Auden was quoted in his poem, "Doggerel by a Senior Citizen", as saying: "Then Speech was mannerly, an Art, Like learning not to belch or fart: I cannot settle which is worse, The Anti-Novel or Free Verse." It seems as if Frost borrowed haha. Poetic license. @Biography
