And in this cruel world is cruel religious systems filled with groups, cliques, etc., that hate the truth, they are the false brethren. The word of God states, if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, the operative word is, “in Christ” not in religious systems, schools of thought, rhetoric, philosophy, etc. Thank God for men such as Pastor Jeffries for taking a stand. I honor and respect him.

It's as if a burning house was full of people. To put water to the fire would delay the fire from consuming the people inside. And therefore give heed to the saving of their lives. We must work together to keep the fire low, long enough to save as many lives from the fire as possible. Bring awareness to everyone the true salvation of Jesus Christ! No one should sell their soul blind for a selfish fleshly desire. Especially only because they ignored and refused to believe God's word. God Bless you all with the Love of God! It's there for your acceptance. It's your free gift from the Father, a priceless gift. Thank you for your teaching Dr. Jeffress.

I think in politics you can and should absolutely stand together with every kind of Christian: Mormon, Evangelical, Catholic, Baptist... etc. There are so many Christians in this Country and in the world and we are defiantly stronger together than divided. And we definitely have way more in common than not. We need to set aside our differences and stand headstrong together on the many things we do agree and believe. I really hate it when so called “Men of God” try to stand up and say that it’s better that the world go to hell in a hand basket than to stand with your brothers in arms and fight sin as one just because they believe that some people think slightly different things about the Christian faith. I definitely don’t assume to know the mind of God and neither should anyone else. But we should use the word of God that all Christians believe in as a way to come together and start making positive change and start effecting the culture like we have in the past and like we should now. Tribalism between Christians will get us no where. Do you honestly not believe that the current line of thinking isn’t a thought directly from the mind of Satan? Or that he wouldn’t encourage us to look for and consider our differences too much to overcome? We need to remember who the real enemy is, but if we start looking for enemy solely within our camps then there is no hope. “Love One Another” How can anyone claim that they believe this or that they live it if their time is spent knit-picking other Christian groups apart to come up with nonsense reasons why other Christians shouldn’t associate, even under good, true, Godly causes? It’s time we as Christians of all kinds from all walks come together, united and start putting our foot down against the terrible way this world is going. Let’s rise up and show the world what it truly means to be Christian and in turn show our Father in Heaven that we still know what it means as well.

Yes, and no, Marissa. While there's some room for doctrinal disagreement on non-salvation-critical issues, and the Bible has some examples of this (Romans 14:1-12 for example), there isn't room to be off on key foundational issues and still be a Christian and right with God; Scripture is full of multiple serious warnings about false doctrine. "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers." 1 Timothy 4:16. (note "save"). "..destructive heresies..", 2 Peter 2:1, among many others. Of the groups you mention by name, the Mormons of course call themselves Christian, and while upstanding citizens in their behavior (the "life" part of 1 Timothy 4:16), but their beliefs (look into what they really believe) are very far removed from the Bible - we can become gods, both Christ and the Father were also once just men (there's a bit more complexity to this, but this will do for the moment), that the Bible is full of error and needs to be restored, etc, ect; actually much closer to some form of eastern mysticism. The Catholics have some beliefs that plainly contradict Scripture (that Mary had no sin, that we should pray to other dead Christians to pass prayers upstairs, some unhealthy understanding of works, that priests should be unmarried and celibate, among other errors, and centuries of institutional and leadership corruption and still dealing with major high-level cover-ups of child molestation, but doctrinally not nearly as far off as the Mormons). The Jehovah's Witnesses deny the diety of Christ, and teach that he's actually Michael the Archangel and have also in the past, while specifically at the same time claiming to be God's prophet in their publications, have made a number of false predictions of Christ's second coming (versus Deuteronomy 18:22, Matthew 24:24, 2 Timothy 4:3-4…), and other problems too. And also within any doctrinally sound body, some false Christians can be found too (see Matthew 7:21-23). But, on my main point, yes, "many differences can be set aside" within the broader genuinely Christian body of Christ, but certainly not all differences.

Mormons are not Christian? We believe Jesus was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins and we must ask Him to be our Lord and Savior asking His forgiveness. We help the less unfortunate, no strings attached and love everyone. Nope we are absolutely the scum of the earth. We are used to being hated.

God stands supreme in His judgement. He said He does not want that any should perish. He knows best our understabding is limited we dont see further than our nose God is omnipotent omnipresent and omnipresent He can see all things and therefore let Him make the decisions upon knowledge and understanding so give Him the benefit of the doubt HE KNIWS BEST He said His thought are higher than us. Bless Him saints and let His Kingdom come as it is in heaven. Be Blessed Saints.
