I liked Robocop 3 a lot personally, but I loved Thinner. He was amazing in that film. Great interview!

Robert John Burke is a fantastic actor. He’s played several roles where he had to be buried under tons of makeup and body suites. And always managed to give incredible performances. Especially in Thinner. “The white man from town!”

While nobody could fill Peter Weller's big cyborg shoes, Robert John Burke did his best. I just wished that movie was more adult-orientated like the first two. I enjoyed the interview very much.

Hello Jim, thank you for this interview!😊 I'm 35 now, but even though I saw ROBOCOP in the cinema back in 93, I only realised it wasn't Weller who portrayed Murply just in more recent years, around 2010 or so. Burke was amazing in the role!

Robert Burke was very good in the role. As a kid I saw the movie in VHS and Loved it as the first and second.

He’s a terrific actor. Loved his work in Thinner and No Such Thing. And he was good as Robocop as well. But I’ll always remember him as Dust Devil.

I mean, I don’t envy anyone replacing an actor in a role. There will always be comparisons. Almost like the fans are predisposed to dislike you. I think Burke did what he could with what he had.

I think Robert Burke was great as RoboCop despite the bad script he had to work with. I think he just got a lot of flack due to coming off the heels of Peter Weller. I get that Peter Weller is the only true RoboCop and he can be a tough act to follow. I like how Burke made the role his own while trying to give his own unique take on the character instead of trying to imitate Peter. At the end of the day, I can definitely see him in the role a lot more than Joel Kinnaman.

“RoboCop TREE”, lol. That’s funny. But “in terms of” the “sort of” interview, Jim, great stuff. And what a great guy Robert is. His memories are as clear as day and the car taking out 1/4 of Atlanta’s power was hilarious. The safety aspects and a crewmember taking the tip of a bullet in the arm from the iconic “you called for back-up?” scene a chilling reminder of what happened to Halyna Hutchins.

He’s a very kind, down to earth person who treats everyone with respect. He’s a fireman when he’s not acting and does a lot of charity work with Dennis Learys foundation.

Robert John Burke talking about gun safety is sad coz RoboCop 3 was released 8 days after Brandon Lee died on set for the Crow.

Unbelievable truth was a good film i watched at 12. Always thought adrienne was rosanna aquette. Often get the 2 mixed-up.

Robocop 3 was a really bad film, but the actors gave their best. And Robert John Burke was a perfect fit for replacing Peter Weller.

Robocop 3 was certainly a deeply flawed sequel but moved the story further which the second film failed to do. The people of Detroit had to stand up for themselves instead of relying to much on their heroes who could only do so much.

Robocop 3 was terrible but as a child I thought it was amazing, and RJB was not a terrible Robocop the production around him was terrible, he never got his own fitted suit, the arm movements/positions were off, the sound guys made his cybernetic body louder than it was before making it annoying, the writing was fucked with, but I give him grace because his acting was good and his face wasnt so dissimaler from Weller's you could imagine after a while they had to rebuild a face for him.
