I watched this video probably 10 times over the years. It has proven to be very valuable for me.

Keegan's stages are interesting. The stages can hopefully nudge a person to value the importance of evolving as an individual in relationship with their values, morals and belief about self.

If you can grasp stages 1, 2, 3 then skip to minute 9 where he begins stage 4 and 5. Stage 4 is capacity to author your own identity. Stage 5 is capacity to re-invent, re-tool your identity as Bob Dylan, among a few other celebrities have demonstrated.

Jay how would you describe the impact for our educational system of having to deal with different stages of development within a classroom?

One of the great challenges in this world is that we can never control the stage that other people are running in, so inevitably wherever we are may clash with where they are, and until you reach a certain level you won't really be able to truly appreciate the levels ahead of us. So we cannot convince someone else to join us at a higher level of consciousness.

Is there an equivelant theory of emotional developement for the different stages I sense there may be

I think there is some alignment here between Kegan's and Kohlberg's theories...

Why "In English"? - well you may remember that even Robert Kegan wrote in his book "In Over Our Heads" of how complex the adult development theory can be - that even jokes emerge of "when will it be translated to English?"............

This opening on subject and object is in reverse to our reality, legally speaking. We are subject to the Monarchy, her objects under her authority. Although we're presumably, the boss of the monarchy individually as her direct superior, combined in the authority of the will of the people. UK version. (only just started to watch) I may be back:)
