Most definitely! I'm not a hateful person, but I believe that his body should've been tortured. He's pretty fortunate for that. At some point, I wouldn't be surprised if his corpse does get dug up and tortured. Look what happened to Hitler and Mussolini. I'm sorry, but I agree if that white woman, he's the wrong messenger if the right message. It's not just because I'm white, either. He tried to kill off the Ndebele people, and even a Congolese guy told me he didn't like him. I said it was okay, if he liked him, too. His anger lead him to his tyranny, despite at one time being a revered freedom fighter. I'm kind of shocked he was so respected once he died.

The country Zimabwe has never ever been sanctioned. That is a lie from individual Zanu-PF criminal politicians who are sanctioned in their personal capacity from coming to the West or having bank accounts there. Those Zimbabwean politicians are very un-happy they they can't go and squander the loot they have stolen on Western countries luxuries. So they have to go to Asia where they are not so comfortable and not so welcome.

What’s scary about it all is that he’s lived in a Parliament built by a Rhodesian regime and died in a foreign country receiving medical care using Rhodesian capital. Zimbabwe has never build anything for that country, all of the infrastructure that exist is all from Rhodesian times, the towns, the schools, the hospitals, the parliament, the train stations etc. Even then they have failed to service any of it. He sold all the locomotive trains when coal is mined in Zimbabwe and the country ran out fuel in the 90s to run the diesel locomotives and the country came to a stand still. The whole 37 years has been a joke. He didn’t liberate Zimbabwe by himself, where is the recognition for all the heroic people that actually fought for it. I’m surprised they allowed him to conduct his leadership in that manner to be honest.
@kudakwashe715
@kudakwashe715 5 жыл бұрын
Sky-view Rhodesia was paradise for the handful minority colonisers, not the majority black population. What Rhodesian capital? Zimbabwe was still paying Rhodesia UDI debt after independence. Get your facts right. UDI war had been funded by IMF and world bank and the debt was never paid off by the Rhodesians. Most infrastructure enjoyed by Zimbabwe was built after independence. You talk as if there was no segregation in Rhodesia. Who enjoyed those facilities during the colonial regime, certainly not the blacks, who were forced to provide cheap labour to pay all manner of ridiculous taxes that enabled the oppressive regime to build whatever infrastructure. Did blacks go to schools built by colonial oppressors? Why is it that malnutrition levels (1976 -1979) were high among the black population if access to services was equal to what the white supremacists enjoyed. Blacks were forced out of their land onto reserves which were dry and arid. White farmers curved out the best lands for themselves. Fact is Mugabe did a lot in advancement of Zimbabweans in education and housing. Yes, things collapsed after the sanctions which were imposed on Zimbabwe after he forcefully grabbed land. He was not perfect, but to most Zimbabweans, he is a hero.

Social welfare and medical care in US and Australia, nada in Zimbabwe. They do not have to flee to other countries and work for peanuts to survive. Their kids have basically free education. In Zimbabwe a $100 a month would be bliss for the average person. I am not saying their plight is to be disregarded, but the indians and aboriginals at least have education and oportunities. Last time I heard they were not banned from finding work and uplifting themselves. In Zimbabwe there is NO work fullstop. These restrictions have no impact on the economy of the country. Anything suggesting the opposite is wrong.The European Union continues an arms embargo as well as sanctions against former President Robert Mugabe,( Deceased) his wife Grace and the firm Zimbabwe Defence Industries. A United States travel and economic embargo remains in place for several senior officials of the governing Zanu-PF, members of the military and state-owned companies. Also you need to check amount of AID money sent from western countries over the last decades And the newly elected President is hoping on WESTERN investment. Corruption of people in power was a big part of the problem. Mugabe and family spent more money in a day in Western counties than most people make in decades or more, You know the same countries that have Zimbabwe under Sanctions .

As much as you are entitled to your opinion from reading your contribution I feel that opinion has been influenced by misinformation. Mugabe said he was taking land from the colonisers as he claimed that he could not allow them a minority to have the lion's share of the land at the expense of suffering Africans. Surprisingly the ordinary African man never benefited from this exercise only government officials and a few relatives including the Chinese benefited.

Linda Beritis Ndlovu exactly what I’m saying 30+ years in power sanctions or no sanctions should have a good enough hospital to treat him in his country. North Korea, Cuba, Iran have been under sanctions for decades do you hear or see their leaders going out of the country for treatment or dying in a foreign hospital. Cuba actually has some of the best doctors in the world. I don’t understand this low expectations and mindset of African ppl like they don’t know they deserve better. 30+ years in power what is the road network and infrastructure like? Schools? We already know the hospitals can’t be world class if he died in a Singapore hospital. His kids were sent overseas for schooling. What do you think that says to the indigenous professionals that work in Zimbabwe education and medical fields? They are not good enough to treat or educate their leaders families. That’s some absolute nonsense and shamefully low mentality
