A live viewer sitting far from the stage may not see the small details that are seen when watching the KZbin video. So many poppers today make big and abrupt movements in their performances which grab the attention of an average viewer, but hold no true skill or complexity. I like how you stick to your technique and don’t feel the need to make big and abrupt movements to attract extra “oooh’s” and “aahhh’s” from uneducated audience members. By uneducated, I mean in terms of dancing and popping. Your flexibility, movement to the music, and popping overall is second to none. People who know popping and dancing know that you’re an original and one of the best.

the back bend drop with the freeze one inch from the ground i would say is pretty impressive. i also have a move not shown in this vid, where i back bend down, body thread (henry) on the floor, and pull myself back up to standing, like a harder version of what kinichi does.

jurassicsushi I still don’t nail the drop like this 100%, I’d say 85%, i have to be quite warm and not too over worked. I barely started doing that this year. The other one took lots of leg work, I had to get my ass and leg muscles strong enough to pull myself up without making it look hard or losing rhythm.

Maybe 6 months - 1 year each. Different too when you’re performing it. Doing it in practice is easy.

My shoulders are quite natural, i just had to work a bit on my left shoulder to get it to the level of my right. The back move took years to get that kind of control, my mid and upper back is not nearly as flexible as my lower back, so I could get it contortion status if i trained for it. I've practically retired my leg behind the head move. I actually get a better response from the public without it. That one takes a toll on the hips as well, especially if you don't rotate left and right, it's very difficult to get the left behind my head without using hands, and the move imo is outdated and a bit ugly on stage (ass to the audience). I also stretch pretty thoroughly everyday, at least 6 times a week.
