The Honorable Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, O.M. (Order of Merit [Jamaican Government]) has done more in his very short lifetime than even Marcus Garvey. Bob Marley was the very first so called "third world" superstar. When Bob turned 18, I was born. When I turned 18, Bob passed away. But I am truly blessed to have met Ziggy, Stephen, Cedella, Sharon and the rest of the Melody Makers. My strongest inspirations. came from Bob Marley. He lives in my soul for infinity. Rest In Power, Prophet Joseph. One Love ❤️💛🖤💚🫀🔥🙃💯♾️

Bob Marley was a legend, icon, revolutionary, the list goes on, his music will go on FOREVER for centuries to come, his music still lives on through each and everyone of us. On hearing of his death, as a young child, I remembered it to be sad day, when the sun partially shone, to mark the end of a Great Man. Thanks for your music, for raising and bringing up so many relevant topics such as nature, peace, love and harmony, racism, discrimination, poverty, war, the whole sociology of human society. What a genius!

Many people want to give Bob a title or assign a label to him. As great as he was in our eyes, he was like you and me. A son (or daughter), a messenger. He would not elevate himself above you or me. Instead, he would simply love us all. He did and he gave of himself. Now we are all wealthy because of it. Thank you brother. Your portion of the Spirit helped lead me to enlightenment and illumination. Much Love and Respect.

I have been studying up on Mr Marley and I had no idea Peter Tosh was the one behind all and Marleys greatness, but Bob did a lot of the work himself as like writing many wonderful songs. Mr Marley has that “it” factor.. He was the frontman and did his job very well..rip Great one Peter Tosh and rip Honorable Robert Nesta Marley, greatest of all times ever.

Agreed that Peter (McIn)TOSH was equally talented in deh music & with doing vocals. For better or worse... Tis' Chris Blackwell & the Island Records promotions/marketing staff that decided to mek Bob deh "Frontman." It was thought that both Peter & Bunny were "too dark." So the seeds of discord were sown...

Loved the man and his music I still do. And believed in most of what he stood for as a revolutionary. To unite as one and stand together as one . Treat each with love, peace and respect and keep peace , no war ect. Of course without a doubt we all should do so . If we did , all this going on in the world them and still now , there wouldn't be all this war or problems. Because , truth is we all need God. And that's what It's all about, nothing more. Follow God's ways and what the Bible says , that's the truth.

Now during these turbulent times of BLM protests we need strong and respected elders to show us a path towards a peaceful future for us, our children, our grandchildren where we don't have to walk in fear. Where we can walk on an even playing field with dignity and not treated interior because the colour of our skin. This was Bob's message also
