Another excellent choice Gordon... Palmer can be a bit hit and miss but when he hits he hits the spot! Plenty of emotion in his voice and a really engaging delivery. The Honey album is pretty good. Two tracks from it hit my spot... Love Takes Time (with a superb trumpet intro) and Know by Know... give them a spin.

Much better than the most other songs from him. Love the funky, soulful melody, the trumpets and guitars. Btw, the Prince video was locked in my country by Warner music group for copyright reasons...very bad 🙁

I think you would really like the song I mentioned, Where Can It Go, from the Double Fun album. Also check out Robert's great cover of Todd Rundgren's song from 1979. Sorry to hear about Prince getting blocked for you. That's the second video to get that treatment - Bob Dylan video is blocked in Russia!

Great song by a great artist. Until you mentioned it, I was unaware that Robert Palmer was no longer with us, and died in 2003 at age 54 of a heart attack. I think I had forgotten about this. Sad. I have one of his CD's--"The Very Best of the Island Years". Thanks for playing "Every Kinda People". Take care.
