@@ColonelSternlove it's really the most obvious moral about the story. Henry is easily manipulated, and the made-up assassination attempt was merely a scapegoat made up by William to justify Henry's invasion of France. Therefore the Dauphin hated the English, and understandably so. It was the English who brought war to France, the French crown had no part in instigating the conflict.

I mean, he made such a good job of creating a despicable character that I have problems now trying to not hate him as an actor

Now that I've seen him in armor with long hair, I think Robert Pattinson could play Arthas in a future adaptation. Just a thought.

i can not image how bad Twilight producer had to be that he turned this great actor into bloody zombie that had 1 face impression through 3 movies. In role of Dauphin Robert trully showed his skill as an actor. I am happy to admin i was wrong in every comment i made about his poor actor skills in the past.

At least one of the two main Twilight stars can act and it's the one that didn't cheat.

Historically speaking. The English court didn't start speaking/writing in majority English until Henry V's reign. Still though, most Kings and Queens when growing up were often made fluent in a handful of useful languages that they would likely need to use. So I guess the language barrier in the movie is just for comedy?
