I thought Raise The Roof was a bit formulaic. The first time. A little bit of an attempt to capitalise on the success of Raising Sand. But then I listened again. And again. I now see it for what it is. Sheer Brilliancer. The vocal harmonies and instrumental backing are sublime and just about as good as it gets. Absolutely wonderful. I am very impressed with the collaboration, it is fine and fabulous.. But I stil listen to the golden oldies, after 50 years I am still Dazed and Confused.......
