I can not imagine Robert Plant not having anything left to say. He is brilliant and kind. He never just rested or churned out crap. He is so grounded and yet he is so open to still learning and sharing. He continues to be honest, creative and absolutely relevant. His incorporation of world rhythms can help expand humanity. He has always had an open mind - hey look, he wore blouses for most of his life. Too intelligent and kind to be in politics.

Great, great interview, Mr. Rose. And Mr. Plant, thank you, not only for the memories, but the present and future. Both you men have all my respect, and honestly, I haven't said that but a handful of times throughout my life and I'm 63yrs old.

A kind man who did a get well message for my ill girlfriend years ago when I delivered a parcel at Olympic studios. Thank you Robert she was so surprised. It is a great interview, not just about zep, a deeply intelligent guy who I'd love to talk to about culture and travel, maybe talking about the cobra gypsies and Wales.

An interviewer that actually lets the guest speak, listens to the responses and expands on them. How refreshing.

huh? Then you dont have a clue about the MO of Charlie "Modus Interruptus" Rose then. Try looking for the 50,000 other interviews led by Mr. Rose and I guarantee you you will edit your comment, remove it, and apologize to me otherwise I may have to beat the living snot out of you for being a tool.

@@sarahwentforalemonwedgeand8991 You're right, I don't have a clue who the interviewer is. I would have thought it's pretty obvious though that I'm talking about THIS interview only. I don't particularly care about any others he's done. As for apologising to you, that's hilarious! By the way, editing my comment and then deleting it is a bit pointless, don't you think 😉.

I liked the sounds Robert Plant made when 'filling in the gaps' during his LZ years. He used his voice like an instrument at times.

What a delightful interview Robert gave. He’s brilliant, playfully funny, charming, and so kind. It’s great when he shares artists, songs, and why he likes them. I’ve learned so much from his sharing. Thanks for posting this for us!

Rose obviously has no idea who Robert is as a musician. Robert fights him constantly to make him realize who he is but Rose can't fathom it. Robert is so intuned to his musicianship and has never let that go throughout his career. To his credit Robert has never made an interviewer sound bad. Such an intelligent and kind person.

Robert was naming some of his favorite songs. Out of the 1,000's he could've named, I was completely taken aback when he said, "One More Cup of Coffee" by Bob Dylan (sung in duet with Emmylou Harris) (released January 1976) on album titled "DESIRE"). When I first heard the song, it transported me to the place of Dylan's narration. I probably listened to it 10 times a day. It's up there in my own favorite songs ever. If you haven't heard it, don’t rob yourself of this song. And the entire album. It sounds nothing like any other Dylan album. Magnificent!

One of the best interviews with Robert Plant I've seen. He seems not to rate his LZ lyrics much, but one of the best things about them for me is their poetic nature which meant they often have a timeless quality. He seems to have a great perspective on everything now.

I've always loved Plant in Zeppelin and his solo path (in contrast, I've never been a fan of Rose as an interviewer; I think he's terrible). One colossal, prolific performer with a washed up, subpar, pretending-to-care interviewer.
