On another note. I actually took my draft physical and passed. I got my draft notice while I was in Nam. The first sgt. Took care of that.

Amazing interview....the only respectable part of the Baby Boomer Generation,my parents` generation was the half that served....my father served from `65-`69,and men,real men like Dad,like Mr. Prins,at the very LEAST,deserve a salute from all of us,before it`s too late.......Thank you,Mr. Smithers.......

A decent and good man. I knew many like him. On my first tour I was north of Hue city and mingled with a lot of the 101st guys. Good troops.

Funny. I've got flat feet and the air force accepted me. I didn't know about the army or marines for this problem. Ended up spending two tours in Nam
