I completely agree with Saleh regarding young players and more specifically Quarterbacks. All of the evidence is there to support it as well yet fan bases and owners will continue to force GMs and Coaches to start players well before it makes sense due to a lack of patience.

Agreed it’s best for Rookies to sit for a while but in todays NFL teams are under tremendous cap pressure and they look at a rookie QB contract as an opportunity to stack talent on the rest of the roster. If you pay a veteran and a rookie QB you essentially lose your advantage and have much less money available for other positions. So you are right that they’re impatient but they’re hoping to have a kid come on strong immediately and then you will have a chance to win a chip because the team around Reg e rookie will be stacked ie San Francisco

​@dimondjak Geno was thrown into the fire too early with trash receivers in his first two years, then Bowles waited too long to go back to him in 2016, and then, of course, the bad luck injury as soon as did get back in and threw a quick TD. BUT ultimately Geno screwed himself by not paying IK the $600. He had the keys to the house and he would've eaten with Marshall/Decker. Fitz took his plate. IMO Sanchez is the one who really got sabotaged by the GM. He was knocking on the door of the SB and they dismantled his entire offense.
