If Andy says Robert isn't his brother, how would Jack be his dad? They are his family even if adoptive. He doesn't like what Robert did but like said said, hurting Robert would hurt Jack. Jack usually chooses Andy and Robert feels he chooses andy over him

because andy always been an entitled sponger who did all he could to push robert out and repace robert as jacks son, he and jack always saw robert as a useless nusicace and andy always referred to jack as his dad while treating robert like the outsider when his the biological son
