As a 40+ yrs career artist I found this a very good kick in the butt. The content in this interview hits home on many levels, very inspirational and causing me to redefine (again) some of my artistic and professional directions. Thank you!

i cant even describe how nice it is to see father-son relationship on this level, where they both do what they love, maintain friendly relationship and both probably admire each other :)

Yeah, its nice to have that. My dad was an artist too, but i didn't care to ask him about this stuff when he was lucid

Thank you for the comment allluckyseven, glad you enjoyed the interview! I'm very fortunate to have my father be a part of our brick and mortar school, and now he will be joining us for the new online school as well!

The period that Robert Watts prefer of Illustration are exactly the same that i do and the artists that he referred to are exactly the same that i admire and safe work of. And the fact that Robert Watts is one of my favorite Illustrators and he just happens to have the same preferences that i have ... man, it' just awesome to me. Awesome ! What a duo these guys are ! Marvelous.

Excellent interview Jeff, your father is so talented and interesting. You are so fortunate to have to work with your dad. He really makes some great points and is fun to listen to even for those of us who are not even artists. I love that he said "Reinvent yourself on a continual basis..." that applies to any industry, powerful words. I would give the world to have had a chance to get my dad on video. Whatever you are paying your dad to teach is not enough, give that man a raise!

"Get your noise making skills up." So many great points. I learned a ton in this interview Jeff and I'm not an even an artist. So many great points made that are applicable to not only business but to life. I love that you said, "We don't drive theme to get their art supplies." Welcome to the real world kids!
