dianne’s choreography was absolutely amazing and really showed off how hard they’d both been working all week! loved the characterisation and styling- knew robert had it in him and dianne’s wonderful teaching helped. you can tell how much of a good teacher she is by the emotions at the end, that’s what strictly is about! judges deffo undermarked but i’m excited to see how far they can go now everyone knows they can be fun but also have technique! sooo proud!

Amazing to think Shirley gave the John Travolta crap a 7 and then said Robert didn’t make any mistakes yet gave him a 6. Can’t believe it. This was the classiest Strictly Tango since the very early days and deserved so much more based on what the judges said.

A couple of rises on some chasses that shouldn't be there, but this was really good. His timing was spot on, footwork clean and he looked like he was totally in command. I hope Dianne has a positive year this year as apart from Joe she never seems to get far. Haha to everyone thinking he'd be comedy, my auntie included. And apparently he made no mistakes? Woo! My one criticism us that I felt he was being a bit too careful. But man... Dianne's second Tango, but her first classical Tango. It was actually quite beautiful. Very seriously done. I'm quite proud actually. Must be so rewarding for pros like Dianne, for the celeb to go from broken from training, scolding them so much that a certain word is burned in memory, and they smash the dance!!Deserved good scores. That 6 was woefully low. They don't get enough credit, just because they're jokey and fun.

@danielthestrictlysuperfan64203 жыл бұрын
I definitely enjoyed this routine! Proper music, lovely outfits, nice intention in Robert's eyes and nice hold. It could have been sharper and more "into the floor" (having more of that stalking leg action, in which you move like you are following someone rapidly but quietly while your legs are being pooled by the floor as there were magnets installed in it, meaning that you cannot pick\lift your legs). I addition, Greg's posture could have been slightly better and they broke hold during the dance (which is illegal). Haven't said that, the story -telling, the nice attention to some details, the visuals of it all, the incredible interpretation of the music - all of that come together into a wonderful number. I cannot wait for Robert's quickstep next week - he needs to work on his posture a bit and he'll be great (hopefully). My score: a 6.

Apparently he got a bit over excited last week too and there was a fair bit of choreography in there that Diane didn’t know about in advance! I seem to remember that he got slightly ahead as well in the cha cha?? Anyway, week 2 and the nerves and shock and excitement of week 1 has settled down and this was an outstanding tango; I think possibly my favourite performance of the night. Those in the know seem to be awarding him 7s (I thought he deserved at least a 7 from each judge and so was underscored) but given this is only week 2, and it’s a 7 for a week 5/6 tango, personally, I’d give him an 8. Fabulous music and musical performance too.
