It is incredible how good the old American English sounded. This was only 50 some years ago, and now no American politician nor "leaders" talk this elegantly, with such passion class and vigor. With a large beautiful vocabulary and coherent arguments

@1956plewis It's mandatory for a U.S. citizen to have a valid driver's license while operating a motor vehicle. It's mandatory that we pay taxes. There are quite a few mandatory things in this country, or did these examples escape your attention in your sarcastic quip?

I want to thank you for making this talk available to the public! I can only hope that it will not be "reported" by those who oppose free speech, a diversity of opinion and suppressed bodies of facts. Having discovered the vast and highly informative, well-documented cache of largely suppressed books by well-regarded experts and professionals in their fields among the items made available from the JBS, I actually obtained an appropriate education after graduation from what were promoted as educational establishments known as public schools. (they used to be much better). From the age of 22 to my current age of 63, I could not be more proud of my having become a member in 1976. There is simply no way to summarize my experience as a member except to say that I wouldn't trade the knowledge I have acquired nor many great people I have met during my membership for the world. Mr. Welch, in actuality, should go down in history books as one of this nation's most kind and moral men there ever was. I have met him and attended on a number of occasions his addresses to audiences. The Life and Words of Robert Welch will give the reader but a glimpse into how special this man was and how hated he was by the enemies that he was busy exposing. He was an incredible man of peace and kindness, a true gentleman, always with the best of intentions. I better stop now as this may turn into a small book of exclamatories. Again, I thank whoever is responsible for making this tiny but important piece of history available!

If you want specific details re: the grave errors made by the JBS, then see my online Report which is based, primarily, upon FBI investigative files. In October I combined ALL the chapters of my JBS Report into one PDF document (614 pages) which is here: archive.org/details/john-birch-society-report-october-2020-614pp Then, this month, I revised and combined all my chapters which pertain to JBS lies about our civil rights movement into one PDF (245 pages) here: archive.org/details/combined-pdf-jbs-vs.-civil-rights-movement

Being created equal is all the original founders said. After that you are a individual, no one needs to help you. If you are handicap, then you should be helped. You can come or go, work or not work, be educated or not. You are your own decision maker. Our government lost its way soon after forming. Mostly because they all pandered to the voter to keep their position, all the while the pandered remained in their position. I like Welch, but he talks about the government stretching out the war and he said it could be done in a few months. But he wants to linger on the fight against communism. I know I am in the small minority, Welch said National Socialism only numbered a couple of hundred, but if you want to rid the world of these gangster communist, you must do what Hitler did and ban them, then go after their nest. You cant negotiate with communist gangsters. They will lie, steal and murder you or your friends and family.

In November 1964 J. Edgar Hoover responded to numerous inquiries about Robert Welch and the JBS as follows: "Personally, I have little respect for the head of the John Birch Society since he linked the names of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower, the late John Foster Dulles, and former CIA Director Allen Dulles with communism." [J. Edgar Hoover comment during November 1964 press conference; also appears in FBI-HQ file 62-104401, serial #2381, 11/20/64 and HQ 100-114578-152, October 22, 1965 and 62-104401, #3865, 3/24/72.]

BTW-- the JBS lost an historic, precedent-setting defamation lawsuit because it published a false article about Chicago lawyer Elmer Gertz in its magazine. This is the typical behavior of intellectual cowards and bullies who have no capacity to admit error. Everything I present here or in my online Reports is based upon documentary evidence with clear footnotes or other references which anybody can check for themselves. THAT is what enrages anti-pinko because he/she cannot refute ANY of that. Notice that anti-pinko does not dispute that the Birch Society lost an historic precedent-setting libel lawsuit -- which btw changed American libel law -- because anti-pinko knows that is factually and historically accurate.
