Roberta Flack is my cousin. My Granny and Grandpa are her aunt and uncle. Irene Flack her mom is my grandpa Fred's sister by blood. My Granny is related by marriage and my grandfather is my father's dad. She is a amazing person. I remember when my Granny had her stroke and my neighbor came to check on her Roberta called our house like almost at the same time the neighbors showed up and they were huge fans of hers and my Granny asked if she could talk to them for a minute and she not only did she sent them autographed merchandise. I have had a few small conversations with her on the phone when she called to check on her aunt and she was always very very happy to talk to me apparently my Granny told her a lot about me she said. So yeah I am always glad to hear about fans of hers
