you're right, but she lost legato in many places, too much stoccato , but she is in tune in whole song. and french could be better)

Je n'aime pas trop cette voix .Elle est très agile mais le timbre n'est pas très séduisant .C'est plus un soprano léger ,qu'un soprano lyrique .Et pour chanter Juliette ,il faut une voix plus corsée .

@@hsg2012 Having seen her countless times at the old Met, I must disagree with you. The sound on this tape is awful and doesn't sound much like her in the house. She sang over 500 performances during a four decade career. none of which was Juliette. It was the kind of thing opera sings sang on TV in those wonderful days when we had a lot of opera on TV. Lastly it's unfair to judge the voice from TV kinescopes of so many years ago.
