Pastor Blake. It is with a heavy heart that I'd like to point out, despite agreeing with everything you say, many men including brothers in Christ have adopted the secular patterns of masculinity with all the negative attitudes you describe. As a teenager and for many years after, I was the woman of substance and honesty you describe. Yet my sisters who would dress up, flirt etc were marrying all around me. I was told I was too idealistic. Yet, men seemed to expect perfection from me. I do feel quite broken, despite years of therapy. Having keen intelligence, I find many men dull and uninspiring with no conversation. I would also love a protective man as I've never had this in my life. Because I look strong and courageous, I have been told by men that they don't need to protect me. When I assure them that this is a maladaptive strategy to ward off the teasing and bullying I endured for many years, they don't seem capable of understanding. My Saviour has the right kind of love. All problems would be solved if we truly conformed to His image. May God bless your ministry.

What I as a man was unaware I needed from a woman apart from positive regard was also something called "felt security". Felt security, for those of you unfamiliar with the idea is about a person's ability to leave the sight of their care taker and begin exploring the larger world around them with a sense of self-efficacy(that no matter what obstacle I may face)on my way to a desired result I can/will figure a way through on my own. With the gift of felt security I am now confident I can not only initiate relationships, I can also sustain them by making sure I can hold space or actually be emotionally available for a relationship. Without those qualities of character I am not sure if it's possible to keep growing together as a couple?

My mother was extremely beautiful in her 20s & 30s. She had her three daughters and even married once. She constantly left men behind because she knew she’d have another one right around the corner. After leaving a trail of broken hearts, she’s single now at the age of 50. She’s still beautiful, still looking for love. She spends a lot of time reminiscing about her past and about the men that could’ve been good for her that she left behind. I guess we can learn from her. Once you find a good man who feeds your soul. It’s better to truly commit

That is profoundly true! Loving a woman is different from being capable of loving a woman the way she desires to be loved. Wow!
@justynak38672 жыл бұрын
but what if his desire is not to give that, then her desire would also not be self seeking as being self seeking is not love. For example a man who does not talk about his feelings with a wife who would want him to-she does not self seek him to. But on the other hand, him giving that to her would be love on his side. However we may never get everything we want from anyone, too.

The last time I fell in love, I fell in love like most people usually and healthily fall asleep-- a little at a time and then all at once. At 63 years of age, this was the way(15-20 years ago) that young women fell in love. It was a lot less about the physical or carnal characteristics that a man brought to the relationship "negotiation table" and more about his ability to be honest (matching words to reality) and his level of integrity (matching reality to his words) or promise-keeping. I sincerely hope humans return to this style of courtship because it will likely mean a child can benefit from having both Parents living under the same roof. That's extremely emotionally stabilizing to a child who might otherwise feel an underlying anxiety/insecurity for most or all of their life.

Thank you Bishop! I continue to grow from you. This message was a God sent. The main takeaway, "is this man capable of loving you the right way". 'Stop choosing men that you can love but choose a man who can love you". ♥️

A man can talk a good talk, but it’s his walk- his actions and behaviors-that demonstrate his true values and definitions of love, women, etc. Listen to what men DO, not what they say.

I dumped a guy earlier this year because I had to come out of my pocket to pay for food when he was broke a few times. I almost have to break up with him before that just to get him to send me money to get my feet done. He only lasted 2 mos. I needed a King that provides and has earning potential.

Pastor Blake's. Everything you have shared is what I had when I was married until my husband passed away. I will never settle for less. Even if zi remain a widow, that is fine with me until I meet a man like you described here. I am almost 70. And have no desire for a clown. God bless you for being so straightforward

Thank you Bishop🙏🏾🙏🏾 You and Lady Blakes are such a Blessing. You are truly helping. Last September the day I was separated after a 15 year marriage/ now divorced, your channel literally popped up on my YT feed.. it was God. I watch you daily and many I’ve watched over and over. Taking time to heal as I work towards opening my heart. Most importantly at my single state healing and learning who I am through the eyes and heart of Christ. Your daughter in Christ. Peace and Blessings.

Bishoppp!! Teach!! I discovered your ministry over a year or more ago and I took to heart your messages! I read Father Daughter Talk and even though I have met a man who you describe to a "T" I still listen to your messages... I absolutely LOVE your ministry! EVERY WORD you preached! I SEE daily! I just want to thank you! The most important piece is that the man who is capable of loving you is that MAKES YOU FEEL SAFE!! he is not about drama or confusion!! He's CONSISTENT and he SHOWS UP!

This was really helpful ... the man who was the most capable of loving me DIED suddenly, but he was so different that I kept that idea in my heart not knowing why it was so important ... in the next decade, I found myself looking more at not only whether a man was good, but whether he had the capability, given everything else going on with him, to love me the way I needed. Now, in the future, I can have the question in the back of my mind OUT FRONT. I have never dated "bad men" or "thugs" ... but now I realize that "good" is not enough. A man may be good in every area of his life but one: how to love a woman. As the elders say, "ninety-nine-and-a-half" just won't do...

Pastor Rc Blakes, I have no words to thank you for changing and influencing my life the way you have. I thank God every day, because I know he put you in my path to change my life from the first day I started listening and following you. I’ve come from being as broken as can be, to being a queen and let me tell you, my life is beautiful today. It’s taken a lot of work, lot of therapy and a lot of hours listening to you, but it’s been so worth it. I have finally tapped into the feminine queen God created me to be and let me tell you, there is nothing better than that. My actions, my demeanor, my character all align with that of a queen today and your teachings got me here. Thank you for teaching everything and love my father didn’t have the wisdom or discernment to do. God bless you every day, and please continue the work you do, there are so many broken women who do not know their worth and need you. I need you every day, sometimes when things get dark, I say, let’s see what pastor Blakes has to say. You words of wisdom always, give me clarity and direction Thank you and Hod bless you.

I am the most blessed of women - to be loved by a man who is both my type and is also loving me as a King loves his Queen. I have been living with and spending a lot of time, through hard times, with him and not once did he lose my respect. I still can't believe this is for real!

A man can love you but he has no capacity to love me the way I need to be loved . Let this marinate first . You preaching sir ! Toxic masculinity confused love with sex . This is so deep here . Every woman has to be loved uniquely tailored to her need whatever that is . Is a woman a slave or a utensil to be used ?

My heart and mind are always ready to hear from Pastor RC Blakes. And I just exited stage left from a gentleman who claims to be capable of loving multiple women at one time. He tried to convince me that I should accept his polygamy need because it’s apparently the new wave anyway. I didn’t buy it, but hoping to hear more about this “new wave” from Pastor soon.

Have you checked out the Bible? There are many kinds of love that a person is capable of expressing. They are not necessarily as deep as spousal love, but they are a kind of love nonetheless. That said, once both parties have agreed to exclusivity, then I agree that a boundary has been violated if the other person is carrying on another relationship without getting your O.K.
@CeeceeH18193 жыл бұрын
Men wanting multiple wives are just pure greedy and selfish. What other reason is there to justify this new wave? Plus, can they afford this 'new wave' lifestyle?

Two weeks ago I decided to start seeing a therapist and already I am seeing and discovering things and with this message here from Pastor, I have decided I am done with this fool and don't need to prove nothing to anyone, but myself. Starting with self compassion ❤️

Oh my... For all the days that I've been on earth, I've never thought about whether or not a man was capable of loving me. What??? I would always think about "him" but not me. Then like Bishop said, you give it all to this man but then you end up with nothing. You're drained because you emptied your tank on a man who wasn't capable, didn't want to try to figure out and had no intention of wanting to know how to love ME. Oh my! I'm still in shock. I look back over the years and the men I dated and none of them were able to love me back because all of them were simply not capable of being able to do it. What? Have I been living under a rock or was this simply because growing up I didn't feel valued enough to think of myself as being lovable? I will listen to this message a few more times because I'm still at I never thought about is this man that I'm about to date capable of loving me? I have to meditate on this some more because the shock of never thinking about that concept still stings.
