Hi Robert...i'm new to your channel. Great finds! I'm a jewellery collector...the necklace with the small grey round beads look like hematite....if they stick to a magnet then it's magnetic hematite....either way the crystal is a very grounding/healing stone...the fragment of a chain...that didn't look right to you may be yellow and rose gold....and that vintage class ring at the very end...is worth more than the gold itself as it appeared to be "art deco"...1930's - 40's...i'm in canada...but there's a jewellery collector named Hudson Vintage in the U.S...she may be a good person for questions...she collects both fine and costume. I gave a thumbs up & subscribed...take care!

I feel bad for the people who lost their jewelry. Years ago I found an engagement ring on the beach outside of my home and put a flyer out that I found it, but they had to tell me what it looked like. It belonged to a widow and she was really happy to get it back. You never know the story behind them or how much it means to the person. Anyway great video

I have had delivered today a Nox 600 and cannot wait to go out tomorrow a take a swing down at a local beach near me all the way over in the UK. You have given me hope that the detector I have now bought will find me gold and silver like you have found. Keep up the good work and wish me luck!! Look forward to watching more of your journeys on the beach finding more of the good stuff!!

You earned it! Way to hang in there! I've been detecting for like 38 years. My first nugget was 3 and 1/4 quarter ounces I had less than 2 hours running detector the original Gold bug. Technology is constantly changing you won't get rich but you'll get healthy and enjoy the outdoors just like fishing bird watching gold panning bicycle and hiking hunting whatever motivates you we're healthy out outdoor exercise peace to your soul. Congratulations on the gold don't feel good! The new detector help discriminate the targets with less experience, you can do the same thing with the sound but it takes a lot of experience.

I was a remount jeweler for Dave Downey Inc. out of Indianapolis, Indiana back in the late 80's. The men's ring with the four Sapphires will probably appraise around $2,500.00 to 3,000.00, possibly more depending on the quality of the melee' and the sapphires. I've been out of the industry since the late 90's due to deteriorating eyesight and burn out so could be worth even more. One thing I can tell you for a fact, generally speaking they don't mount junk stones in 18Kt. or Platinum, good luck and great finds!
@nemesisxx95255 жыл бұрын
I dont think that's blue sapphires. I think it could be blue diamonds. That's Indian gold moulded by westerner, they definitely put blue diamonds in it. I've seen a similar ring in the shop

@@Swoop180 I found 2 stones both cut.. One has gold(pendant) in perfect condition. The big one is cracked damaged inside.. To this day I wonder what made it break but only inside, the surface is fine!.. I didn't sell them or show them to an expert, a friend tried so hard to buy the damaged one, tbh it's beautiful even in that condition. The little one is more beautiful as if it was made yesterday. It is so luminous (beautiful colors once hit by sunlight or other light source.. Colors are: white, blue, yellow, violet, red, etc..)

@@roberttretola8263 unless a item it monogrammed and has some other identifiable features, such as a school or town, it is very very difficult if not impossible to track down the original owner unfortunately. Also if the original owner wanted to retrieve their items worth thousands they could have taken the time and money to buy a metal detector and go retrieve it. There are a few videos of rings with identifying marks being returned. I metal detect and offer my service on Facebook if anyone loses jewelry. For some reason I get tons of people asking for my help, and when I say I would be happy to and try to setup a date and time to go help them they never get back to me. Weird. Out of 20 people contacting me I had 18 not get back to me. Some really blow my mind. Had a lady lose her silver pendant with her kids ashes in it. Told her i would be happy to help find it the following day....never heard back from her after that. Would have expected her to really be anxious to get the pendant back in a hurry. Anyway sorry for the long comment. Just wanted to explain how metal detecting has worked out in my experience. Take care.

Nice score! I worked for a jeweler for many years. At 28:25, that little piece of chain looks like real gold nuggets soldered with cheaper metal to form a chain or bracelet. (lots of people bring those back from Alaska and have jewelry made, at least they do in Seattle.) In the can at 29:11, I'll guess it's part of an earring or maybe part of a pendant. 29:33 the small ladys ring appears to be poor quality rubies with possibly diamond or diamonique (fake diamond) 30:01 nice "stampado" cross on a hollow rope chain. . Those hollow rope chains are pretty light but still are gold. After that, a nice curb bracelet, hopefully it's real. BAM! Nice gents sapphire/diamond gold ring! You'd think whoever owned it would find a better jeweler to size it!! He did an ugly job on the back of the shank and perhaps made it the wrong size which may have led him to lose it in the first place!! That's all the better for you! Nice haul, Robert Ferguson! Nice day at the beach. All those kids playing in the sand not paying attention to the change falling out of their pockets. Too busy watching the girls in bikinis! HaHa! ;)
