@@thematrix6830 black music does not trouble me at all ,like almost all music , i dont see or hear colour ,i someties have difficulty with strongly with strong reggae accents ,dialects and patious ,of course some white music does my head in ,german french ,almost all european music ,because i dont understand the language ,but on the subject of robert glasper have been listening and admiring his music for a few years now ,particularly like his interpetation of the stevie wonder song jesus children of america originally form the innervisions album ,an album i remember buying when it first was released in the uk ,in i think 1973 ,the reference to the sandyhook has brought a tear to my eye , there has clearly been a misunderstanding somewhere along the line , i have nothing more to say ,i am comfortable in my skin regarding my love of music regardless of race creed or colour ,if you dont believe me ,i can live with that .

I'm a drummer. This is amazing honestly. Just the control in the intensity is just amazing and I just cannot believe that the world we live in only wants to hear music that we usually hear on the radio because rhis should be on the radio. Keep on going 💪

The way I would describe Robert Glasper's definitive style is that he simply soothes the soul, even when he gets funky and makes you move...it still such a soothing treat.

I’ve been listening to this performance for a long time. Once it hits my ears, I’m suddenly in awe of the world around me. In awe of myself, in awe of the love I’m so fortunate to share with so many people. And, sometimes, within a few small phrases, I experience a deep stillness. And when the air gets rich and brisk this time of year, I hear this and watch the world change. And for some small moments I am changing with it, along with its exact breath. And I give smiling tears.
