I once wrote a cover story for a magazine while listening to this and only this, repeated over and over. Best part is, I later got to interview Glasper and express my thanks. He is a singular talent.

I’ve played this “joint” at least 30 times since the first time I heard it. Dinner Party as a concept is truly “insane”. Terrace Martin, who I’ve loved since “Beige”, Kamasi since “Street Fighter Mas” and, well, Glasper 👌🏾 who I recently saw in Johannesburg, South Africa. I like how they don’t try and dominate each other but instead let the colab play itself out in such a pleasing manner.

This song is exquisite. The rhythm of the music conjures up the sense of a great voyage through different places and different times in history. It drags up the soul and then treats it to a delight that it always wanted unknowingly. Glasper, your piano notes make this piece the mastery of sound that it is. You have found a composition that is endlessly enjoyable to listen to and flourishes in its casual simplicity

The powers that control the music industry don't want people taking in a positive wavelength, positive energy, and positive vibrations. They are trying to tell us what to listen to. That being songs with b_tches and n-words in the lyrics. Get wise people!!! .... and be comfortable listening to what your soul is feeling, not what society is saying is hip or popular. Forgot to mention GREAT SONG!!!!!
