I am halfway through the book, it is one of those books where you want to quote and use every single sentence in it in your life.

True, I’m currently reading it too I’m on page 280 at chapter 6 about to finish the book. I generally don’t read historical books or autobiography type of books, but Mastery is a worthwhile book for sure. One person who caught my attention particularly was the story of Temple Grandin, animal behavior expert with autism, I even watched her Ted Talk. Kudos to Robert Greene for writing the book 👍

I own the _The 48 Laws Of Power_ physical copy. Are you saying that I should get _Mastery_ and _Laws Of Human Nature_ , as well?
@Galifamackus Жыл бұрын
@@DwyaneWadeCountyYes, big time. Laws of Human Nature is my personal favorite, but I’d argue Mastery is the most impactful of all his books

I loved the way RG highlighted human emotions in that book. Masters were once beginners too but they stayed consistent regardless of the emotions they felt

At your birth a seed is planted. That seed is your uniqueness. It wants to grow, transform itself, and flower to its full potential. It has a natural, assertive energy to it. Your Life's Task is to bring that seed to flower, to express your uniqueness through your work. You have a destiny to fulfill. The stronger you feel and maintain it--as a force, a voice or in whatever form-- the greater your chance of fulfilling this Life's Task and achieving mastery. Robert Greene, Mastery

The dream was what I called it, and it felt like when a certain song played or a moment in a movie or show happened, it felt like motivation towards a goal that was ingrained years ago.
