i remember driving that same stretch of desolate highway 40 years ago thinking how anyone could live there but was reminded by a fellow working at a service station in Arco that home is where you grow up. It has a beauty of its own and I want to thank you for bringing those memories back. Time for another visit.

Home is where you live, and the area has a quiet beauty, and the hint of being on the edge of something, it is a very enjoyable place to visit. Thanks for watching, and commenting.

Robert is THEE BEST! I have been on the edge of my seat, tapping my foot, glancing at my watch, waiting for his next series of video road trips!

He's back! Was thinking where your travels were going to take you this summer. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing a section of Idaho I have not yet visited. I usually went eastward toward the Grand Tetons out of Idaho Falls.

How much did it cost you to have them close down 65 miles of highway, just so you could have it all to yourselves?! Lol. Nothing better than enjoying the big wide open landscape on an old quiet two laner! You made my week, Robert. Love the video, looking forward to what’s next!

Not everyone appreciates wide open spaces, so this area is not what a lot of people seek out. That is what makes it so quiet, which just adds to the enjoyment. A quiet road, blue skies, and the hint of spectacular scenery on the distant horizon, a nice place to get lost for a day.

Very unusual to see a triple semi trailer in US videos. They're very common in Australia... but only allowed well away from big cities. (And they're a little intimidating to pass on a motorcycle... the back trailer wags like a dogs tail.)

I agree it is very unusual, and I suspect that it was a permitted application for a very local area, This part of the Snake River Basin is very flat, and has very straight roads so it was probably restricted to a very close area.
