He stores solar energy, but he doesn't produce it. He needs the sun from time to time.

In kid's shows they take liberties to create tension. Most of the time in the comics he doesn't need to be in sunlight, but he can be drained of his solar energy and then need the sunlight to recharge. In thus show it seems like because of his young age. He can't absorb the sunlight too well and so his reserves aren't long lasting.

Não. O Roberto é brasileiro, mas não tem poder de fogo, é na verdade uma bateria solar humana - absorve energia solar e transforma em força. A Amara sim tem poder de fogo e de vulcão. No desenho ela é brasileira, mas nos quadrinhos ela é loira e princesa de uma cidade romana perdida na Amazônia (então, embora a cidade de nova Roma esteja no Brasil, ela não tem documentação de brasileira, e isso gera uma situação confusa).
