This is a great word and so much wisdom in it. Yesss.. "Dull of hearing of the offence- but rich in hearing of HIS MERCY" ...Wow :) Definitely should be listened to at least twice. Pray for those that offend you, reject you, and slander, abuse you... IT IS SPIRITUAL and so so easily able to take offence -it stinks of the enemy of our souls... Forgiveness is the key...as HARD as it is and our pride to overcome... and to learn of God's LOVE and bit by bit accept it, allow it to go deep... heal you, and SHARE it...give it freely...whew...hard stuff to live daily... When people have lived it...they get it and can explain it... thank you Pastor Robert- your -experiences and obediance to GOD'S ways are reaching and teaching many. May our heavenly Father have his hand upon you and PHM and the healing restorative power of Jesus Christ and His blood cover us all that seek Him and do HIS ways, equipping US for good works. God knows we are all humans. So we live by grace not our efforts, also Jesus harshly rebuked the pharisees who came at him. Rebuke is an act of love. God will still bless his people by grace and devil cannot stop him. Devil is already defeated at cross, self defense is not a sin. God never taught in bible to put up with abuse or domestic violence. Turning other cheek is restraint not surrender to abuse.
