I found this video quite refreshing. We do see very many vintage radio repairs on the tube. But it would be nice to see more recent repairs. After all one day they themselves will be vintage. It's a thumbs up from me.👍

I guess you could swap the power switch for one of the lesser used switches if cleaning the switch didn’t work. Nice video on the repair work. 👏🏻👍❤️📻

I repaired a similar set, but the switches did not respond to contact cleaner, so replaced them with switches from an old Sky box, no problems since!

You get 10 Good Husband Credits for fixing Mrs. C's radio Paul. Just remember though that these credits are very difficult to earn but very easy to lose. ATB Doug.

Hello Paul. You got to keep on top of that "honey do" list. A good fix. I like the easy surprises. The speaker quality was also a surprise. It must have decent audio. Good job on the high speed morse code as well. HAHA

Nice radio. Only one decent radio station to tune into, Radio 2. :). I used to listen to it while driving a lorry up and down the country. :)

Nice one ! I wonder how many Radios have gone in the bin because of this problem as owners just thought it was terminal?

EWWW! its like real plastic innit! Little tactile switches... at least its not just a disc straight on the board with carbon pads.

Ooow i would say ' that looks all white' :-D if it was dab i would shout swear words at my laptop screen lol. Can you tell i don't like digital radios (the killer of real analog radio). "D" cells would last a good time, even if they were cheap zinc carbon ones.. Yes blue leds would be different :-D
