I discovered Opine while I was incarcerated. Prison inmates can buy these little tablets through a company called JPay that we can use to buy and download music, some games, and our electronic correspondence with friends and family. Most of the time when you are looking for music you have to use a Kiosk, which is basically a computer that's been locked down to only run the approved program for accessing JPay services. But JPay eventually released a limited catalog that could be placed on the tablet itself. It contained mostly the most popular music being sold, but also had listings for most music categories as well as short sample clips. I don't remember what section it was in, this was back in 2017, but I stumbled upon Mindfields listed as a single on the mini catalog. The artwork caught my eye first, with the winged creature with no face, but the name of the song intrigued me too There wasn't a lot to listen to, Just the very end of the first verse and most of the chorus, but there was enough to make me want to hear more, so I immediately bought the song and fell in love with it. It was one of those songs that I could listen to almost endlessly. Then, I eventually bought Heartless, and found another song that was infectious. I played it over and over, same with Mindfields. Out of the thousand something songs I bought while I was incarcerated those two songs stayed at the top of my rotation. Mindfields and Heartless carried me through two and a half years of prison time I probably wasn't supposed to do. I was serving for a parole violation after having been locked up before and released under supervision previously, and not only had not known that I was even doing the violation in the first place, but the violation was a result of my parole officer intentionally word twisting and going against general rules of thumb in regards to the parole condition I "broke" Though at the time I had only bought the two songs, they carried me through an experience arguably worse than the original prison stint due to the circumstances behind it. And for that I want to thank you.

What's so great about this is that it is just as good as your other songs but also better in a way because it has a whole band behind it. I loved it :)

Very good. I love the balance of all the band members working together. Each part fits and complements the whole. And the sound is both heavy and easy to listen to.
