Those nice, neat labeled bins hit me right in my organizational/a-place-for-everything-and-everything-in-its-place feels.

What you can’t see is the giant off-camera box of yet-to-be sorted hardware. It’s a work in progress John, I do my best…

as I have said in other comments, the process and what was learned is more important than just a success. as the saying goes "the journey is more important than the destination"

Been watching your videos and been helpful to learn resin, haven't tried creating a mold myself yet but you make it seem approachable. Your tips for the molds have helped me a lot with gettin no bubbles in the resin. I don't have a vaccum pot/pressure tank, but your other tips have made things come out much better. Thank you! Hopefully this project of yours will come togehter.

Wow, another surprise project. This is huge! Your not fitting this one in your pressure tank. Could be a bubble nightmare! Can’t wait to see how this works out.

Thanks Max. Glad to be home but I will be a commuter for awhile between both shops. There is life outside of KZbin. Unbelievable, but true.

I've been watching all your videos in the past 2 two days, love everything, Though I wish it was shorter, some parts can be cut and shortened - it will also attract more viewers IMO (from 25min to 8min) Also I think you can attract more views and new subscribers by creating a beginner series: "Casting 101 from start to finish - all the methods and techniques" (bottom-up learning videos) Because currently your videos are top-down, diving into the most complex and not everyone understand why you do certain things I also searched for something and didn't find it and wanted to know if its possible: Thin walled part but with internal structure (for reinforcement) Basically if we take a block 40cm Long X 10cm wide X 20cm thick and hallow it to save material but keep its strength
@RobertTolone3 жыл бұрын
Examine your thin-walled part to see if your internal structure is trapping the rubber or making it impossible to hold the internal sections of the mold in position. Without having seen it your object sounds more like a 3-D printed part than a resin casting.

So did you find a pressure pot big enough to borrow. Funny thing is the next project from the lady in London , she has a pressure pot big enough .
@RobertTolone3 жыл бұрын
I’m going no-pressure on both projects Glen. I don’t really mind because many of my viewers don’t have a pressure pot and this way we can see how much can accomplished without one. Perfection may include me, but it pretty much always does anyway.
