1. look for thinner band lashes, easier to apply. 2. Measure the lashes against the eye, trim as needed (from the longer lash end). 3. Apply duo glue to the lash case. Then use the end of a brush (or similar) to apply glue to the lashes. 4. Wait for the glue to get tacky. 5. Apply Mascara and curl natural lashes (if applicable). 6. Look down into the mirror to apply them, chin up, look down. 7. Drop the lash in the middle of the lash line. 8. At the outside corner, gently tug and press the outside of the lashes in to place and pinch. 9. Look down and out with your eye. At the inner corner: Gently push the lashes on “under and up” to get the right shape and placement. 10. Gently pinch along the lash line from inside to out, slightly moving fingers to get a tight line of natural and false lashes. For anyone else who wants these tips written down to refer back to! I have paraphrased a bit sorry ❤

Mireille Gamboa hey Mireille sorry for the delayed reply! That’s such a common problem and happens ALL THE TIME! usually it’s down to the thickness of the rib, the type of glue and positioning. Lashes with thick ribs are more likely to unstick so makeup sure ur bending the rib before just by wrapping it around a brush. With the glue, make sure your not using too much and that you’ve given the glue about 30 seconds to partly dry. When your applying your lash, try my tip in the video where I look down, into a corner or with your other hand try gently pinching the bridge of ur nose to open up this area, sometimes lashes unstick because they aren’t applied close enough to the lash line in that corner. Something so simple as using a mirror the way you teach made all the difference in the world. I used to do it on the bathroom mirror looking straight away and always struggled to stick those suckers properly and it would take forever. Just placing the mirror that way cut the time it takes me to put them on so they look nice by half (and not unsticking and sticking again I feel makes the lashes themselves last longer cause you abuse them less)

I'm still very new to falsies so it's a bit of a learning curve for me, but I definitely find the hardest part is the angle the lashes end up in. When applying them by hand, I end up with a gap between my lash line and the band. When applying with tweezers they end up in more of a 45 degree angle in comparison to my natural lashes. Only question I have would be lash care. I'm very green with everything makeup related, so do you toss them and buy a new pair each and every time or is there a cleaning method? Thank you for this video, it does help a newbie like me tremendously! I especially appreciate the trimming section, as I never knew which side to clip without ruining the style of the lashes.

I got a problem applaying lashes, and I think it is because I got double lashline (if thet makes sense), so when I put lashes on it looks like a gasp between the lashline and the lashes. Very good Robert you make it look so easy. I just saw a another KZbinr put her lashes on the same as you I putting the glue only lasted cell and then putting it on your eyelid above eyelash line. However I saw another KZbinr who did it a little differently. She first of all put eyeliner on her eyelid then she put the glue on the Lash and put the lashes on just above the eyeliner on her eyelid then she put another swipe of eyeliner at the top of the eyelashes to finish that off. Have you ever tried the magnetic lashes would you like to try that and show us thank you be well and stay safe love your Channel love your personality and you're very educated so I think we think you know what you're doing

For me the absolute toughest part of trying to put on lashes... is my depth perception. Even when I follow guides to the dot, I can never seem to get them close enough to the lash line and I have this big gap in between. Granted, some of the problem is most likely due to lack of practice, but it's tough to keep trying when the result doesn't really change, if that makes sense. That being said, you break it down into more basic elements and such, so maybe I can afford to try again. How long is it that you need to wait for the glue to get tacky? And what is your stance on magnetic lashes (and the magnetic liners some companies sell)?

How long does the glue set for? Everyone always says awhile.. or until it gets tacky... but for someone who doesn't have experience with lashes (like myself).. I haven't got any idea of how long that means 🤣 I've tried doing lashes. Id love to be able to put them on whenever I wanted too. I dont want to all the time because I don't want to damage my natural lashes but I'd like to know how to do it when I want too! Also, I have some ardell individual whispies.. do you think those are easier for beginners as opposed to a single lash bands? How do you feel about Velour lashes? For some reason I went on a lash buying binge before I could even apply them and thats pretty much all I have is Velour lashes. I have a couple others that are different brands though but the majority are velour.

Hey robert, i love your vids so far. My issue with lashes (if you can help me that is). First off, my eyelashes are very, very curly. especially at the end corners of my eye. they literally curl up to my upper lid. which makes putting on lashes hard because they are so curly, i end up putting the lash on them, rather than behind them. And another issue is the inner corner of my eye hurts or feels irritated. when i lay down the false lashes to the inner corner of my eye. Does that mean I have to cut some of it off? I also have really curly lashes so I take an eyelash curler and rather than use it for curling, I use it to kind of gently straighten my lashes out. I hold it upside down and (carefully) get as close to the lash line as possible and gently press down and work my way to the tip of my lash hairs and it makes putting false lashes on much easier and keeps me from getting glue all over my natural lashes. Idk if that helps lol but works for me

Thank you for this, I have been experimenting with different lashes under lash clusters which are very hard for me because for some reason towards the end my inner eye corner My real lashes get stuck to my eyelid and I can't even attach the lash cluster to it. Can you give a tutorial about what can go wrong and how to fix it? I find all these videos saying these are so easy to do but no they're not. And there's a lot of trial and error. Strip lashes are fine but I find that the strip lash glue doesn't work that well and I've had to use bond and seal for under lashes in order to get them to stay. Also I would like to learn about cleaning my lashes and my eyes from old lash glue to reapply. I think you're awesome and very in-depth.❤

Hello Robert. I have small eyes and they are hooded as well. My issue is that the glue somehow never adheres to my skin, even if I wait for it to be tacky. I have very small and pale natural lashes as well so Im scared to apply too close to my roots in case it rips off when I remove my lashes. I have found the magnetics helpful in learning how to apply false eyelashes. I have moved on to the non magnetics by the same company that I get the magnetic ones from. Apparently they're "Nano technology" with no glue. The liner is clear. No wait and you can take them off and put them back on if you misplace them. What do you think about those?
