Finally got a bottle and I‘m happy. To me in my fragrance journey this is still a bit daring with the sharp terpentine incense leather dark opening, but the facets underneath are damn good, same as the transition.

Love DS and Durga, discovered them last month because of Luckscent as well. Tried the Mississippi Medicine and liked it a lot!! Contacted them and they suggested Bowmakers and I was BLOWN AWAY!! Sounds interesting when you read the notes, but it is an ABSOLUTE must try. Thick, oily, rich, wood shop smelling goodness. It is amazing.

This is, to my nose, in the similar ballpark as ambers such as Au Coeur du Desert and a bit like Le Lion. It has that dark, cozy, semi-sweet vibe characterized with ambers. So therefore, it is obviously an amber to my nose, so I don’t agree on the point. Great video. I’m gonna order it tonight after sampling it a week.

Thanks for a great video, as always! 👍 Le Lion by Chanel, to me is quite similar to Amber Kiso by DS & Durga. Small nuances make them both great scents though!

Oh the opening of AK blows my socks off every time. For me the drydown gets a little muddled. A solid blind buy nonetheless. Bowmakers is still my favorite of the 4 I own, but I am enjoying exploring this house
